Kendall's POV

Declan and I sat in the lounge-room both changing Jace and Brody's diapers.

"Declan I have a question"

"What is it honey?"

"Honey?"

"Yep. It's your new nickname"

I smiled and continued with the question I was going to ask.

"Out of all the she-wolfs you could have gotten with, why did you get with Charlotte?"

He looked down disappointedly and he looked upset.

"Declan I'm not upset anymore I just want to know why you chose her out of everyone else"

"She was there at the time and she wouldn't leave me alone so I just took the opportunity. But I promise on my life that we didn't mate"

"I know baby. I would have felt it if you did but I'm still pretty upset that when I arrived, you were all over her and were about to claim her" I said sadly while finishing up with Brody's diaper.

He wrapped an arm around my waist and crushed my body to his.

"Baby I would give you the moon and all the stars in the sky if I could just to show how sorry I am"

"It's okay baby"

"You turn me on so much when you call me baby" he growled huskily in my ear.

"Declan stop" I giggled.

"I love you" he said nibbling my ear gently.

"I love you too"

Jace and Brody both started screaming their heads off.

"Awwww shhhh" I cooed to Brody as I cradled him in my arms.

I looked over at Declan and he was doing the same thing to Jace.

"Momma's here. Shhhhh" I whispered, rocking him slightly.

"Kendaw" River said running over to me. "Baby. Mumma has a baby. But it a giww, she pwetty, hew name is Wain"

"Hi River" I said happily.

"Whewe did you go?"

"I went on a little holiday?"

"A howiday whewe?"

"Just outside of the pack. I just needed some space for a bit"

"Why didn't uncy Deckwan go wif you?"

"Cause he had important stuff to deal with here?"

"River stop annoying Declan and Kendall. They have their babies to take care of"

She started crying and ran up the stairs.

"Jarrod go easy on her. She is fine with us. I love River. She can come hang with me whenever she pleases"

"Yes Luna. I'm very sorry"

"Jarrod there is no need to go all formal on me" I said with a smile.

He nodded his head and walked up the stairs after River.

We took Brody and Jace upstairs and put them into the cots that we got from around the pack.

I stripped down to my bra and panties and covered myself with one of Declan's shirts.

I slipped into bed and Declan slipped in as well after he stripped down to his boxers.

"I love you so much baby" he said quietly as he wrapped his arms around me from behind.
