30. Hide and seek

Declan's POV

I ran my fingers through Kendall's soft hair and kissed her forehead lightly. I looked at the mark on her neck and it was beautiful. It just looked perfect on her.

She moved around in my arms and started panting. I looked at her oddly and she started screaming and thrashing around.

I started shaking her to wake her up but she just screamed louder.

"Kendall" I yelled.

She screamed one more time before bolting up and panting loudly. She saw me and jumped into my arms.

She sobbed and cried and just couldn't stop the tears.

I rubbed her back and hugged her tightly.

"Baby shhhhh" I said calmly. "It was just a dream"

"It.. It felt so real"

"Wanna talk about it?" I asked her quietly.

"They... They were there. They were hurt.. Hurting me"

"Who?" I asked her angrily.

"Blood moon"

I understood what she meant and hugged her tightly.

"They're gone now Kendall. You have nothing to worry about. You're safe now, here with me"

She looked into my eyes and she just looked scared and broken. I wiped her tears away softly and she brought her face closer to mine.

Just as I thought she was about to kiss me she put her hands on my chest and took in a deep breath.

"Thank you Declan"

"For what princess?"

"For not giving up on us. For not giving up on me"

"I would never give up on us baby. I love you too much"

She smiled and moved some of her hair out of her face.

I kissed her forehead and she buried her head into the crook of my neck.

She giggled like a little school girl and started kissing my neck.

"What are you doing Kendall?"

"I don't know" she said cutely.

"Are you hungry?"

"Yes" she mumbled against my neck.

"What do you want to eat?"

"Hmmmm Pizza"

I mind linked mum to get us some pizza while she was out and she said that she would be back with it soon.

"How about we play a game while we're waiting" she said.

"What game?" I asked.

"Hide and seek chasies"

"Okay I will go hide first" he said smiling.

I counted to fifty and started looking for Declan.

I looked all around the pack house and couldn't find him anywhere. I walked into our room and then walked out and saw Declan standing near the stairs looking down and around the bottom floor.

I quietly ran over to him and jumped on his back. I gave him quick little pecks on the neck and giggled.

"Found you" I said happily.

I jumped off his back and he winked at me before going to count.

I tiptoed downstairs and walked into the kitchen where Abigail and Jarrod were.
