A strong hand started massaging my temple, going down to my neck, then to my shoulders.

With my eyes still closed, I turned my head behind, placing it on someone's shoulder. It was so comfortable, the heat, the hard surface that seemed to swallow my presence, and the free massage I was getting. I placed my head back on my first position. On someone's chest.

Then a hard weight set on top of my head. Someone's chin. I snuggled more into the head, into this comfortable place.

A hand ran through my hair.

"Camelli." I heard a voice. Smooth. It reflected the heat of this person's body. "Camelli, wake up."

I left a sound of protest.

"Camelli, wake up. It's time."

Time? Time for what? Time–

My sister.

I immediately opened my eyes and straightened, my eyes slowly adjusting to the light.

When I didn't feel so drunk on sleep, I jumped off from Pierce's lap.

"Let's go." I said.

He let out a sigh, as he followed me quickly down the hallway. My heels clicked loudly, but they didn't have that slow, torturous feel to them, now it was replaced with something that felt pretty close to anxiety; fast and not in rhythm.

I'm going to find my sister. I'm going to find my sister.

My hand clenched, and I took every turn, walking quicker with every second that passed.

I need a team. Shit. How could I forget? I couldn't rely only on Nikolai and Pierce.

Quickly, I opened the application, and sent a broad announcement to everyone, one that would even be heard on my headquarters, one that would make an indicating sound for everyone to leave their assassinations, and join me.

"Everyone, as fast as possible go to Treeroad's first house. The abandoned mansion of Tobias Moretti. Whoever isn't there, will be specifically killed by me. Slowly. Torturously. I will peel every layer of their skin. What you have heard I do to my clients? You will receive the treatment firsthand. Only the New York team. I repeat, only the New York team." Closing the announcement, I heard an almost chuckle, but it was pretty faint.

"What?" I asked and walked faster to reach the cars.

"Pretty threatening." He looked at me with the side of his eye. "The cars are on this turn, follow me."

As he said, we entered a room full of cars. I looked at each one of them, my heartbeat irregular. Quick.

"Enter this one. It's quickest."

A dark blue suv Lamborghini.

Opening the passenger's door side, I rolled my eyes.

"You really couldn't get something to fit in, could you?"

I turned to look at him, and a side of his lips turned up.

"Not my style."

As the car started, I turned to look at the window. I was tapping the floor with my left feet, the heel not making any sound hitting the soft like carpet. My heart was beating loudly, as I tried to take a deep breath.

Then, I felt a hand go around mine. Clenching it. I didn't speak, but it comforted me.

It comforted me— shit. Shit. It comforted me so much I forgot to do the main single thing that would guarantee me of the place.
