All I've been doing so far on this trip is sleeping. And when I was awake, I was eating. So yeah. It's been fun.
We were about halfway there now, since Gatsby drives like he's racing all the time. I sat leaning my head against Nick's shoulder as the wind blew through my hair. I wasn't really tired, since I had already slept most of the morning. Karmen, on the other hand, was sound asleep. So I was kinda bored.
It looked like we were driving through a town now, since little houses and shops started popping up here and there. We continued to drive when suddenly a park came into view. Excitement ran through me.
"Let's stop at the park!" I yelled, which caused Karmen to wake up. Gatsby looked at me in the rear view mirror. "Alright." he said. And with that he jerked the car to the right, almost launching all of us.
Once the car finally stopped, I immediately opened the door and sprinted to the swing set. A huge grin spread across my face as I began to swing back and forth. I turned to see everyone was just now beginning to get out of the car. Slow pokes.
"Nick, push me!" I called out to him. He turned to me and smiled. He then made his way over to me. He put his hands over mine on the chains of the swing. But, just before he started pushing me, he kissed me softly on the lips, making warmness travel all throughout my body.
I smiled, and soon started soaring through the air as Nick pushed me on the swing.
Meanwhile, out the corner of my eye I could see Karmen sitting on the hood of Gatsby's car and Gatsby sitting next to her. They looked really cute. :) After a couple of seconds I could see Gatsby hold out his hand to Karmen, and her grab it. Then they both got up, walking hand-in-hand down some path in this park. I smirked to myself.

After a good 15 minutes of Nick pushing me on the swings, I finally decided I had had enough.
"Okay Nick, I want to get off now." I said. Suddenly the swing stopped. I turned to see Nick holding the chains of the swing. I grinned.
"Thanks." I said while hopping off the swing set. "My arms started to hurt." Nick said from beside me. I turned to him. "Then why didn't you say anything?" He shrugged. "You looked happy."
I stared into his eyes. My lips soon met his, kissing him slowly. After separating, I looked up at him with a smile.
"You're sweet." I whispered.
I then turned and looked around, wondering what we should do next.
I shrugged and grabbed Nick's hand. "Let's just walk."
And with that we were off walking down some trail.

Trees surrounded us, casting shadows all across the ground. The air smelled crisp and sweet, like flowers. My hand never left Nick's as we continued to walk down the lighted path.
"I love you." Nick suddenly said. I smiled. Everytime he said that felt like the first.
"I love you too." I said wholeheartedly.
A couple of seconds passed before Nick spoke again.
"Would you marry me?"
I turned to Nick confused and slightly amused. (that rhymed!)
"Was that your proposal?" I ask him with a slight smile.
Nick looks down and smiles. "No, not yet. I was just asking to see if you would ever actually say yes."
I stared at him. "Why would I say no?" I asked. Nick looked back up at me. "I don't know......" he trailed off with a slight look of sadness on his face.
"Well, to answer your question, I would definitely say yes." I said while smiling. "And just so you know, I'm never leaving you Nick. You're stuck with me, whether you like it or not." I said half joking.
Nick grinned at me and laughed. "Okay, that's good to know. I love that I'm stuck with you."
I laughed. I felt happy knowing he would actually propose to me. :)

A little while later, Nick and I went back to the car. Mainly because I got hungry.
So we stood there waiting for Gatsby and Karmen. And we waited...... And waited.....
Finally, after like, 20 minutes, (I know that's not that long but still), Gatsby and Karmen show up.
"Where have you been!? My stomach has been growling non-stop!" I say dramatically to Karmen. She looks like she's holding in a laugh.
"We've just been walking. Sorry to keep your stoamch waiting." Karmen says as she gets in the front seat.
I quickly get in the car also, because, you know, stomach still growling.
Nick and Gatsby then get in the car also, and we soon begin to pull off, full speed of course.

Longer chapter! Whoooo!!!! Outfits at the top! Karmen's is the dress with the sweater and mine is the jean jacket one. ^_^
