It was now fall. Which meant more snuggling and pumpkin spice everything. I'm not complaining though.

Everything has been pretty chill at Gatsby's house. More and more often either Karmen or I see Elizabeth and Tom together somewhere. And I'm starting to really wonder how Daisy couldn't possibly know. I mean, it's right in her face. But, you know, that's none of my business.

Nothing has really been going on. We're all pretty much the same. We still don't talk about certain things, of course, but other than that it's all good.

Right now, I was sitting on the dock behind Gatsby's house while staring at the orange and red leaves of the trees surrounding me. It felt nice just sitting and letting the cold air pass by.

I breathed in the crisp air and sunk deeper into my sweater.

As soon as I woke up I came out here, so I wasn't really sure where anyone was. Karmen was probably with Gatsby though, or looking for me. And Nick was probably looking for me too, or doing something else.

I continued to think when suddenly something, or someone, caught my eye. Across the dock, at the Buchanan house, Daisy could be seen getting in a cab, and at a rather fast pace might I add. Like she was in a hurry.

As she got inside she looked around her, as if seeing if someone was watching her. She didn't see me though. Because I'm just a spy like that. :)

The cab soon made its way out the driveway with Daisy inside. When it was out of my sight, I continued to look on at the Buchanan house, wondering the many things that went on in and outside that place. My eyes then slowly drifted to there driveway, where I saw a blue car. It must be theirs, I thought to myself.

It had an odd sense of familiarity to it. Like I had seen it before. That same color blue.

I began to ponder hard on the car and where I had seen it before when suddenly I felt arms wrap around me. I jumped a little at the sudden contact, causing a chuckle to come from the person behind me. I looked up to see Nick looking down at me with a cute smile. I grinned back.

"You scared me." I said to him. He sat down beside me on the dock. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to." Nick replied back still smiling. "I was wondering where you were, I didn't think I would find you out here."

I shrugged. "I don't know why, I just felt like being here." No words were exchanged for awhile after that. We both just sat and looked across the dock at the Buchanan house.

Suddenly though, Nick stood up and held his hands out to me. I grabbed his hands and stood up also.

"Have you ate yet?" he asked while still holding both my hands. I shook my head.

He smiled. "Well come on, I'm taking you out for breakfast." I shook my head again.

"Oh no, it's okay, you really don't have to--" I began, but Nick soon interrupted me.

"But I want to." he said back while looking me in the eye. I never looked away, not even when his lips slowly grazed over mine.

After awhile of me just staring at him he finally spoke.

"So breakfast?" he asked with a smile. I couldn't help but smile back and nod.

With that we began to walk off the dock and out of Gatsby's driveway. I took one final glance at the blue car before letting Nick's hand entwine with mine and strolling off with him.
