Karmen's POV

Today was the day. My best friend's wedding.

You can imagine how hectic it was, decorations, catering, clothes, hair, all that jazz. But, everything turned out looking amazing, so I guess it was worth it.

Contrary to what you would think, not that many people attended. Just the maids and butlers (obviously) some friends from home, Kelsey and Nick's parents, and some of Nick's relatives.

Right now was like the pre-wedding thing (I don't know what it's called) where you eat and socialize and stuff. The only people I was socializing with though were Gatsby and Carmine. So there's that.

The theme of the wedding was white and gold, so all the bridesmaids wore gold dresses with glittery gold shoes (Kelsey's choice obviously) with a white bouquet of flowers. And our hair was on fleek. Just sayin. (All this is in the top picture along with the bride's dress and bouquet and stuff).

While I was talking with some of the maids, I spotted Nick looking around all confused. I walked over to him with a smile.

"Are you alright Old Sport?" I asked, trying to sound like Gatsby.

Nick chuckled. "I'm fine, just looking for Dimple."

I shrugged. "She's probably off somewhere getting ready. Why?"

"I'm not use to not seeing her, I guess. She's either always walking around or always doing something weird yet cute." Nick said as he sat down on the stairs leading to the living room. I laughed as I sat down next to him.

"Yeah, that's Kelsey for you.......I don't need to give you THE TALK do I?"

Nick looked at me confused. "What do you mean the talk?"

"You know, the talk where I say if you hurt her in any way I WILL COME AFTER YOU." I say nonchalantly.

"Oh, then no. I don't and will NEVER need the talk. I would never hurt Kelsey." Nick says with a small smile.

I look at him with a smile of my own.

"I know."

The time had come for the ceremony.

All the guests sat in chairs in Gatsby's backyard where the ceremony would be held at. They all silently talked with each other waiting for the bride to show up. I hadn't seen Kelsey all day, the both of us too caught up in our own things to even wonder where the other was at. I began to question if she needed me or not, and if she had anything she needed help with....

Just as I had made the decision to go back inside and find out where my bestfriend was, the music started playing, signaling that I had to stay.

Here we go.....

Kelsey's dress slowly appeared as she walked out, accompanied by her dad. The dress was gorgeous (picture at the top!) along with her veil. I smiled as she finally made it all the way down the aisle and was in front of Nick. Out the corner of her eye, I saw her look at me for a split second. I gave her a big grin and a low-key thumbs up. I saw her give a small smile in return. The Preacher began to say the vows as Kelsey and Nick looked into eachother's eyes. All of it made me think of what my wedding would be like....

Soon, the time came for the "I do's." Once said, Nick and Kelsey slipped the rings on eachother's fingers and shared a long, passionate kiss as we all clapped.

And guess who caught the bouquet........this girl. :)

It was basically now the after party, if that's what you would call it. Everyone talked and laughed and ate. It was pretty fun actually.

Literally, the wedding cake was almost the size of the house. But, Gatsby did buy it so, yeah.

Nick and Kelsey danced and I felt like I was watching Beauty and the Beast. But I didn't tell anyone that. A little while after that Gatsby asked me to dance, and I felt like a princess too. ^_^

Once everyone was gone it was literally almost midnight. I was surprised I was even awake.

I had walked down to the living room from my room to sit and chill. But, when I got down there, I see the bride and groom all snuggled up still in their wedding outfits. Guess the wedding tired them out. I laughed silently to myself and decided to just walk around.

Somehow, I ended up outside in the little field at the back of the house. All the chairs and things had already been put up since the wedding, leaving a wide open space for me to sit down. Which I did.

I slowly nestled myself in between the little remaints of flowers that still grew in the winter (it's still winter btw).

There I sat thinking of what would change and be the same now that my bestfriend was married.

For sure I knew that one day, Gatsby and I would get married in this same place.

And that brought a smile to my face.

Honestly, I expected something different from this chapter. But, this happened so......

Picture of bride and bridesmaids dresses at the top along with both bouquets, wedding cake, and table decorations. Sorry no pictures or descriptions of the guys' outfits. I just.....no.

More things to come! It should get pretty interesting after awhile. Key word SHOULD.
