{Before this chapter starts, I just wanna say this is the last chapter BEFORE the wedding cuz I'm ready to start writing it and I'm running out of ideas soooo.....yeah. Continue reading :) --->>}

Days passed by fast. Most of them filled with dress fittings and decoration choosing.
It didn't even have to be said that the wedding would be at Gatsby's house. It was pretty obvious. Along with having the wedding here, Gatsby also planned on handling all cost for the decorations and catering. Of course, I said that wasn't necessary, but there really is no arguing with Gatsby.
Speaking of weddings and Gatsby, he told me a certain proposal he planned on doing to a certain someone, pretty soon. ;) But, that's all I'm going to say about that before I end up spilling some stuff....
You would think someone would be nervous to get married, in fact, you expect them to be nervous. But, for some reason I didn't feel it.
I didn't feel my stomach drop day and night, I didn't feel my hands turn clammy with every thought, if anything, all I felt was excitement. Maybe I was crazy.....
A sudden knock was heard coming from the other side of my door. I got up from my bed and opened it.
Gatsby stood on the other side with a smile.
"Mind going for a walk?" he questioned. I shrugged and closed my bedroom door, following Gatsby as he went down the stairs and out the house.

It wasn't as cold today, which was good since I really didn't have much on and wasn't planning for a walk.
I turned to Gatsby to see him watching his footsteps as he walked, looking deep in thought. I knew he wouldn't have asked me to take a walk with him unless he had something on his mind, so I got straight to the point.
"What is it?" I said abruptly.
Gatsby looked at me and slightly chuckled. He then looked back down and began to speak.
"I never thought...I could be so happy. Genuinely happy, with the simplest things. I always thought that happiness was with how much you had, and how much it cost, because of Daisy. But, it's actually the total opposite."
I looked at Gatsby intently, letting his words soak in.
He then continued. "I didn't know, what Daisy had truly become until I found out she was in that car."
My eyes never left his face. "How did you know?"
"Just after waking up from the coma, I remembered little glimpses of what happened, tiny fragments of what occurred. I remember a streak of blond. Pearls and fur." Gatsby chuckled. "Who else could it have been?"
A smile came upon my face. "You never said anything."
He shrugged. "I figured she had her own problems if she was willing to do that, and I just forgot about it soon. Too busy being happy and having fun."
I nodded. "So any new proposal ideas?"
Gatsby's smile shined. "I don't know yet. You haven't said anything right?"
I fake gasped. "No! I know how to keep a secret! And don't go over board with the proposal, do something simple, but sweet. And don't be nervous."
Gatsby nodded, taking in every word. He suddenly looked up at me with a smile.
"We should probably head back, Old Sport probably worried sick about you."
I laughed. "Same with Karmen. She's probably asked every maid and butler where you are at least 10 times."
We began to walk back, savoring the nice breeze. The distant sound of traffic could be heard with every step took.
I suddenly thought of something, turning to Gatsby.
"You brought me out here just to tell me how happy you are." I couldn't help but smile as I said this.
Gatsby looked back at me with a smile that matched.

Night hit faster than expected. As always, Nick, Karmen, Gatsby, and I sat all in Gatsby's house doing nothing really.
That is, until Karmen came up with an idea.
"Let's play hide and seek (/tag).
We all looked at Karmen, contemplating the idea silently. Finally, we all nodded.
Why not? What could happen?
We decided not to play with the maids and butlers this time, and just let them spectate. Since they always have to deal with our shenanigans.
The rules were simple: Once found, go back to the living room and wait. If person can not be found, they win, and someone will yell out whoever has won so they know they won.
Before anything else was done said or done, I yelled out "Not it!" Followed by Karmen who yelled out the same thing.
Gatsby and Nick looked at each other.
"So who's it?" Karmen asked.
"They both are." I said slowly backing away. And, before beginning to sprint away, I yelled out, "Count to 30!"
With that I was off, not before hearing though, the fast sound of footsteps behind me.

Its been about 20 minutes since we started the game. So not that long.
I hid in the library (throwback!) behind one of the many bookcases.
No doubt, if someone was to come in here and walk a little further back, I would be found. But, it's whatever.
I stood doing nothing, waiting for any sound or movement. As I waited, I decided to read something.
So, I randomly picked up a book and started reading. The book was okay, I guess. I didn't really bother to read the cover.
After about 15 minutes, I heard a squeal, then a giggle. I guess they found Karmen.
I didn't move from my spot to see what was happening. I just stayed, reading my book. I should have grabbed Gatz before I came here.
I was too wrapped up in my book to hear when the library door opened. And too wrapped up to hear the approaching footsteps.
It was only when hands fell around my waist that I actually realized I was found.
Of course, I jumped almost 20 feet in the air when I felt the sudden warmness around my hips. A chuckle left the person's mouth as I turned and looked at them.
Nick's lips almost immediately connected with mine when I turned, causing me to smile.
When we pulled away, Nick slowly leant down to my ear and whispered,
"You're it."
