*LESLIE'S POV*

Making my way through those doors, hearing nothing but the sound of my shoes as I walk to my locker, my heart starts to race as I notice everyone completely stopping what they are doing to look my way. THEY KNOW. Trying not to make eye contact, I rush to my locker. Hands shaking as I'm trying to open the lock. Frustrated I slam my fist into the lockers, I forget my lock combination. Damn it. I want to get out of here so bad, I can't escape. I look around for a way out but I stop, his voice. "Leslie, there you are" Stay away. Please get away from me. I back up to run away but I fall onto the hard ground. I am no longer at school, I'm in the woods.

I start to run. I run left and right and left again down the long grassy walls. I trip again panicking. I can't focus. My vision becomes blurry. Where am I? I get up slowly making my way down the grassy wall. What is this place? "Leslie, you can't escape" Now running away from his voice I find myself in a dead end. Oh no. No. I am in a maze. I hear footsteps coming my way, I back into a corner listening closely.

I hear humming, it gets louder and louder with each step he takes. He's coming. I grab onto the grass to hide. Please stay away. The humming becomes louder as he turns down the corner. I cover my ears with my hands as he makes his way closer to me. "Stay away from me!" Scared. Closing my eyes as he gets closer and closer. "Oh leslie, open your eyes, I want you to watch" There is nothing else I can do but scream. I open my mouth so wide and scream a powerful scream.

I jump up from my bed, heart racing fast. I rub my eyes moving my hair out of my face. Sweat dripping from my face and chest. I was soaked. Thank god it was just a dream. I don't think I could handle it being real life. I grab my phone from the right side of me. Unlocking my screen to see a text from Michael. I feel safe again, I unlock it and read it. 'Goodmorning, if you need anything, don't hesitate to call or text' I look at the time, seven thirty.

I sigh leaning against my headboard. I didn't feel like doing anything today. I just wanted to lay in bed and forget about the world. I don't want to go to school to work. Thinking about work I call Stacy. "Stacy I'm sorry but I can't make it today"

"What? Leslie why, you never miss work"

"I got to go" I hang up before having to explain myself. I haven't really told anybody what happened and I don't plan on it right now. I still need time for me to admit what happened. I get up and change throwing my sweaty clothes into the washing machine, grabbing a hunny bun on the counter. Grabbing the milk out of the icebox when I hear the doorbell ring. I stop. Looking around the corner, hearing it again. Taking a deep breath I walk over to the door, looking through the peep hole. It was Stacy. She looked worried.

I sigh, opening up the door. "What are you doing here?"

She rushed in, making herself at home. "I am here so you can tell me what the hell is going on, Leslie you never miss work" She studies me up and down. "you don't look sick"

I look down at my feet closing the door behind me. "I'm not sick"

"I know that, then what's going on?"

"I just don't feel like going to work, is that so hard to believe?"

"Yes and you know why?"

I don't say anything as she makes her way to me, putting her hands on my shoulders. "Because that restaurant is your life and you wouldn't miss it for just anything, so come on, spit it out, you can trust me"

I could feel the tears rising as I was thinking about what happened. Just tell her leslie, just spit it out already. I couldn't. I can't. "Fine, you won't tell me, then I guess we both aren't going to be working today" She sits on the sofa getting relax. "You like chinese food? I can order some if you like"
