Nick Miller:
Nick notices when you've been pushing food around your plate instead of eating. He doesn't say anything at first—just watches, concerned. Later, he pulls you onto the couch, wrapping his arms around you awkwardly but firm.
"You don't have to tell me everything," he says quietly, "but don't starve yourself, okay? Let me make you something. Even if it's just one of my crappy grilled cheeses." He's clumsy about it, but you can feel how much he cares.
Winston Schmidt:
Schmidt picks up on it instantly. At first, he's a little dramatic—offering extravagant meals, listing out nutrients—but when he realizes this is deeper than picky eating, he softens.
"Okay," he says gently, placing a hand over yours. "What's really going on, babe? You can't pour from an empty cup—and you deserve to be full. Not just with food, but with peace." Then he starts meal-prepping tiny, manageable dishes just for you.
Winston Bishop:
Winston sees how quiet you've been and how you avoid meals. He doesn't confront you directly but shows up with your favorite takeout and a stack of cat videos.
"We don't gotta talk about it unless you want to," he murmurs as you nibble a fry. "But I'm not leaving 'til you eat at least three chicken nuggets. That's the Winston rule." He makes you laugh through the tears, like he always does.
Coach:
Coach is worried the second he notices your energy dipping. He doesn't understand at first, thinking it's physical.
"You haven't eaten, that's why your body's crashing," he says, frustrated with himself for not realizing sooner. When you break down, he holds you. "I get it now. I'm sorry. I'll help however you need. Just... don't do this alone, alright?" His voice is firm but tender.
Robby McFerrin:
Robby gently encourages you without judgment. He brings you tea, sits beside you, and hums a song until you relax.
"Stress can be cruel," he says softly. "But you're still deserving of care. Even when it feels like you aren't." He lets you lead, offering soft foods and kind smiles, always making sure you feel safe first.
Ryan Geauxinue:
Ryan notices how distant you are and how meals come and go untouched. He doesn't force it. Instead, he writes you a note:
"You're carrying too much. Let me help lighten it. Let's take it slow. Just a bite at a time, yeah?" He leaves it with a bowl of soup and a muffin. When you finally eat a little, he kisses your forehead, proud and gentle.
Sam Sweeney:
Sam, ever the doctor, tries to keep it clinical at first—explaining stress and nutrition. But when he sees how emotional you get, he drops the act.
"Hey, screw the science for a sec," he says, pulling you into a hug. "I care about you. You don't have to pretend with me. We'll figure it out together, okay?" He's steady and warm, giving you room to breathe and slowly return to yourself.
