Eclipse stares at their knees, hands gripping the edge of the flimsy gown. Everything had a white sheen over it, replacing the glow of sunlight that had them hissing and turning away. They don't remember when the lights were turned on, nor do they remember when they were back in bed.

Glancing up, they see that you were sitting like you had, leaning slightly down, as if ashamed, wanting to hide away. The blue, plastic chair is back further away from the bed.

A heaviness seemed to press over their shoulders, whispering words in a language they couldn't grasp. Static hugged them, and a feeling crawled into their chest like maggots to dead bodies.

Their hands come up to grab at their neck, feeling the familiar weight of the wretched collar burned into their flesh, gripping their neck like a noose. They hunch over themselves, an acidic bile gathers at the back of their throat and they heave the grossness onto the floor.

It felt like it bulges their throat and they cough, looking down through the haze and seeing cotton all over the floor, and they spit out more and more cloth and stuffing, feeling it stick to the inside of their mouth and over their tongue, dry and bitter. Their body heaves and cotton is spat out. Yet, more came, unending, and they began to panic. They're not supposed to throw up that much! That wasn't normal...

One moment they were groaning and vomiting, looking at the ground as it gathered cotton and wool. The next, they find you kneeling beneath them, an unreadable expression on your face. It borders on something confused, like the concept of throwing up was an odd thing to occur.

"Are you okay?" You ask, voice muffled and far away. Tone indifferent, even when your brows furrow.

They open their mouth to speak, but their jaw is heavy, and no words come out. They try and try, moving their tongue that felt paralyzed. Their breath hitches, and they frown in confusion and worry.

Eclipse looks down at you again, as if asking for help, or reassurance. A pat on the back or a hug or just a simple smile.

They're not surprised when you give exactly that, "It's okay, it will be okay. You have to give it time, and by then you will be able to speak once more. Patience. You'll be okay."

And just like that, they felt so much better, like all their problems were solved by your words alone.

The world dissolves slightly, like a laggy, old laptop, and they feel a shift in the air, replacing the momentary peace. When they look up towards the door, they realize everything was blurry except for the figure standing there, face caved in and bloodied. The monster has a menacing aura around it that has them filled with terror, and they look down to see that you are gone.

When they look back up, they aren't sitting on the bed anymore, instead, they stand in the now-empty room, the bed completely missing.

In a blink, the monster has shoved them to the tight corner, pushing them there harshly and unrelentingly, not giving them a chance to even think of escape. They try to struggle, but their muscles feel weak and unresponsive. They are terrified of the fact that they were nowhere near as strong as the huge looming creature. No push or kick has any effect on it, and it left them feeling helpless.

No noise escapes them as they are crushed into the wall, caged in all sides. They suffocate, feeling their ribs break and shatter, their breath stuck in their throat as they pray for something to come save them.

The pressure is continuous, and they felt the world melt around them as they were fully covered by the body of the monster, harsh and smelly and wet with blood and sweat. Their mouth opens to try and breathe or perhaps yell, but nothing comes out.
