The warm fuzziness they had when they went to bed seemed to have shimmered and soaked while they slept, easing into their mind like cotton.

When they finally open their eyes, they find their mind empty in a peaceful way—no anxious thoughts greeting them first thing in the morning.

The blanket is wrapped around them from yesterday, tucked in and cocooned over their body to create warmth. Slowly, they unwrap their arms to gently wiggle their sluggish fingers, yawning and nuzzling into the softness of everything that surrounded them.

Eclipse looks over to where you lie beside them on the small bed. A small, happy smile grazed their lips as they moved to be closer, squeaking as they yawned again.

They felt like they were falling behind, getting smaller and smaller, but not in a scary way. It made them want to nuzzle and nap happily in the confines of your arms.

So, with no hesitation, they do just that. Snuggling till their head rested under your chin, starting to purr a gentle sound.

They sneak their hand closer to their face and pause, debating their next move... When was the last time they washed their hands? Perhaps yesterday after dinner? Their face scrunched up in concentration, lips pulled in thought.

Hmmm... should they give in to the temptation that has invaded their mind, or should they ignore it, as their hands aren't clean? Ignoring it wouldn't really work, as their urge seemed to grow stronger. It wasn't exactly like when they wanted to bite something, though it was very close.

This is a hard choice...

Oh! They have an idea!

Instead of their fingers, they decide the cleanest place on their hand would be between their thumb and index. They are very smart, indeed!

They nibble sleepily on their hand, sighing in contentment.

They find sleep pulling them faster than ever, succumbing to slumber happily.
