CHAPTER 52 THE WARRIOR KING

Inside the car, Sarah was crying. She blames herself for betraying John. Only now did she realize that John is smart and he is confident because he is a cum laude.

It's still quite early in the night so they might catch up with John or Yvette is still awake. She will go to Yvette first to join her in looking for John in the camp.

Arriving inside the camp, Sarah went straight to Yvette's quarters. Colonel Garcia has already told that Sarah is coming so Yvette is already waiting for her.

Sarah's eyes swelled when she saw Yvette.

"Yvette!" Sarah said and was about to approach her friend when Yvette stepped away.

"I know what you're going to say. John is not here and I don't know where he went. He told me that he had an important thing to do. He has some companions in the van and it seems important." Yvette said seriously.

"How did you know John?" Sarah asked in surprise.

"Do you remember the handsome man I told you that I said I truly love but didn't love me at all? He's John! Don't ask why we don't see each other. That's confidential!" Yvette said.

Sarah felt a new surprise. She was engrossed with John's handsomeness when Sarah showed his picture to her. He's several times more handsome than Condrado. Sarah felt even greater regret and cried on the floor in depression.

Yvette felt sorry for her friend. Even though she is angry at her for betraying John, Yvette knows that the instigation of Sarah's parents and relatives is a big factor here.

"Don't cry Sarah. People make mistakes. John is a good man and I know he will forgive you too. I really don't know where he is now. I promise when I find out where he is I will tell you right away. I will also talk to him that you are looking for him to apologize." Yvette said to her friend.

"It's my fault! I listened to my relatives! I didn't trust John and underestimated him!" Sarah said crying.

Yvette hugged her friend to calm down. In Yvette's heart, if John loved her instead, she would never betray him.

"How is my husband doc?" Sarah's mother asked.

"He is now stable and safe. He had a stroke and it may take several months before he can move normally. Don't forget to give him maintenance drugs and don't let him get tired." The doctor said.

Sarah's mother cried. Just now he called Condrado to confront him but she discovered something big.

"Condrado, Sarah has broken up with her boyfriend. Maybe we should talk about your marriage!" Sarah's mother said nervously.

"Marriage? It's not like that. I have no intention of marrying Sarah. I just want her to be my girlfriend. And you want me to be your daughter's boyfriend, so I dated her!" Condrado said indifferently.

"But you already slept with her! You have to take responsibility for my daughter!" Sarah's mother said trembling.

"There is no such law. I didn't rape her. She agreed to it. If you want, you can sue me. I have something else to do!" And Condrado hung up.

Sarah's relatives couldn't believe it. The conversation was on speaker phone, which is why they heard Condrado's guiltless sentence over and over again.
