CHAPTER 54 THEIR NEW CAREERS

Months passed........

John continued his new life at the company he joined and focused on his work. He finally left MMA because his hands got stained with blood. Don Pablo left the country so he was finally relieved upon hearing the news.

In the company, many women flirted at him, but because he was hurt and insulted, he poured his time into work. Every now and then he thinks of Mae but he knows that there is very little chance that they will meet again.

Mae, on the other hand, continues to study in the university with her best friend Michelle. She occasionally sings in bars and restaurants to make some money.

There are many men trying to woo the two friends but the two doesn't want to enter in a relationship especially Michelle who hopes that she and John will meet again.

In the U.S. Kryzel's treatment and therapy continues and her condition is gradually improving. The girl continued her studies there.

Yvette is in her second year as a cadet in the PNPA and is one of the best in her class. She also studied MMA and defense tactics to prepare herself if she crosses paths with members of the Saturno Drug syndicate.

Sarah, on the other hand, completely ran away from the family because they destroyed her happiness. She didn't say anything about Condrado's friends molesting her and she chose to keep quiet out of shame.

Their catering business collapsed because it was neglected since her father had a stroke and also because the family got into financial problem when Sarah ran away. Their relatives who depended on their catering business had a hard time in life and regretted a lot what happened to Sarah.

A domino effect happened to them because the destruction of Sarah's life also destroyed their livelihoods.

One day......

"Miss, you both might be interested in becoming a model. I have a modeling agency and you both have superb beauty, so you can be models!" A female owner of a modeling agency.

When Mae heard the offer, she refused. Her past was not good especially when she entered the porn movie. She'd like to forget of the past not only because it haunted her, but it makes her arouse.

"Don't worry miss. We are a professional modeling agency and we do not do obscene modeling. We specialize in commercials and product endorsements. Besides, modeling will boost your confidence, which you need once you work in the corporate world!" The woman convinced.

"We are interested!" Michelle suddenly answered.

"Oh, I don't want to!" Mae refused.

"You're always a contestant in beauty pageants and now you're refusing! I've never experienced anything like that so now is my chance to earn money for myself. I don't have to ask my uncle for my allowance!" Michelle said to convince Mae.

Mae saw that Michelle really wanted to be a model so she had no choice but to agree. Besides, she will also earn money so Mae agreed.

"Good! Kindly fill up this form and we will schedule your modeling so you can reserve that date!" The woman said.

Michelle was very happy while writing the form while Mae was smiling at her friend. Michelle is like a child who is excited about the job she is about to enter.

The friends were about to leave when a male student approached them.

"Hello miss! Maybe you can be my respondents in my research!" A man about their age said.

When Mae looked at the man, she was shocked to see him. He looks like Bruce!

Mae stopped and looked at the man carefully. She remembered her tutor and her memory returned to their happy past.....the day when Bruce taught her of her...skills.
