At that moment.......

"Thank you Yvette for meeting me. I just want to talk to you." Sarah said to Yvette.

The friends were at the PNPA cafeteria with Sarah's half-brother, Sebastian. When Sebastian found out that his sister ran away, he looked for her and found out what his sister did to take revenge to those who abused her. He was so devastated that he promised his sister that he would not leave her. Sebastian felt sorry for his sister for the painful fate that befell her.

Sarah's appearance has changed now. Her once gentle and elegant appearance has been replaced by a somewhat gloomy and intimidating looks. Her face somehow shows the anger and hardship she has endured in life.

"Sarah! What happened to you?" Yvette asked in shock.

Sarah told the story of the hardships she went through to get revenge on the five men who abused her. She got sick and suffered from depression so her body failed.

Condrado went abroad in fear that he would be the next to die, so Sarah's frustration was that she couldn't kill the man who started all her problems.

"Aren't you afraid I'll report you to the police?" Yvette asked.

"I leave everything to you. I'm already tired and it looks like I can't take my revenge anymore. I just want to ease my mood that's why I told you what I did!" Sarah said with tears in her eyes.

Yvette felt sorry for her friend. She knew that she greatly regretted her decision to choose Condrado. There is only one thing she can do to help her.

"Don't worry. No one will know what you did. Forget about your revenge and fix your life. Your body is failing! I will help you!" Yvette cried as she hugged her friend.

Sarah turned into a killer because of Condrado. In Yvette's mind, what happened to Sarah was more painful than her whole family getting killed by the syndicate.

At that very moment, she admired Sarah for her courage and determination. No one can help her but herself, a quality that she must have. She also needs to have the courage to take revenge to what the syndicate did to her family, in a legal way.... or illegal way.

Mae and Michelle's graduation day came.......

"Any news from Arex?" Michelle asked softly, her voice nearly drowned by the chatter around them.

Mae's mouth twisted into a frown. "Nothing. He disappeared without even saying goodbye. But Troy said Arex told him he had something important to take care of. Troy keeps telling me not to stress over it."

Michelle turned her eyes forward, but her thoughts drifted inward. At least Mae had a goodbye.

"That's still better than what John did to me." Michelle thought to herself.

Mae let out a breath. "It sucks. Arex said goodbye to Troy but not to me. What kind of man does that?"

Michelle squeezed Mae's hand. "One who didn't deserve you to begin with."

Mae tried to smile, but it didn't quite reach her eyes. "He was sweet. Thoughtful. I liked him... I really did. But somewhere deep down, I always knew it wasn't enough. Like there was this... space he couldn't reach."

"It wasn't you," Michelle said, her voice firm. "Sometimes people just fill a void until we're strong enough to see that we needed more than company—we needed truth."

Mae wiped at her eyes. "God. You always know what to say."

"So, what's your plan now?" Mae asked, eager for a change in subject.
