| September 20, 10:23 CSTHANNAH CARTER WORRIES for her daughter more than she'd like to admit. While the two of them shared their looks, Kamila always acted much like Hannah's late husband, Steven, Kamila's father. She knew it wasn't healthy, but Hannah kept her daughter close as a reminder of her last marriage. And with Kamila constantly running off and playing hero? It... It worried her.
Especially since her daughter hasn't left her room in three days.
"Kamila, honey, you need to come out eventually," Hannah sighed, her side leaning against the doorframe. Her husband, Alex Fisher, stood on the other side of the hallway.
"Han, she's a teenager. She wants privacy, I say you give it to her."
Alex had his arms crossed over his chest, and his focus was half on his wife, half on his phone.
"Alex, you don't understand... You don't know my daughter like I do, she-"
She's my daughter too," Alex interrupted with a sigh, "legally that is. Listen, Han, I have a friend who works with the Air Force; he's no dad, but he's got friends with kids her age. Superhero or not, they're all rebellious at this age. This is probably her way of doing so."
"Which friend?" Hannah asked with her brows furrowed.
"Hal Jordan, his buddy Allen has these two kids who-" Hannah sighed and began to walk away "-Han liste,n it's a funny story, they were grounded and were trying to get out of housework a few months ago because it was boring - you know, kid stuff - and-"

| September 20th, 8:28 PDTKAMILA CARTER WAS not seen for three days, but she was willing to make it four. As far as her mom was aware, she was in bed, and as far as her team was aware, Astrawas was taking a few days off for personal reasons.
Her hood was pulled over her head, and her head was down as she walked through the city streets. She wasn't concealing her natural identity like this, but... she might have to start getting into the habit. With the team's secret operations, of course...
She sighed. Who was she kidding? This was probably going to backfire
See, Kamila had spent the last few days thinking. About who she trusted near her and who she trusted her secrets with. When someone breaks that trust and violates you in such a way, you can't help but be suspicious of their stances with those around you. And with the potential mole on the team? No helping her spiralling co-consciousness
Kamila felt around for the card in her hoodie pocket, knowing well enough that it was the only resource she'd need.
Alright. Now you must be wondering what Kamila is doing. Why San Francisco? Why was she being so secretive and cautious?
Kamila had gotten news regarding her Stanford admission scholarship. Full ride starting next fall, thanks to a few strings pulled by her friends at Star Labs. She hadn't told anyone - seeing as she wasn't supposed to know...
(Let it be known, Kamila could go to prison for a long time with the amount a hacking she's been doing... You know, if anyone could actually catch her.)
Bruce Wayne was very lenient with the security of his debit cards around Robin and Kamila, by extension. And Kamila was going to need a place to stay when in school - one that could double as a hidden base for the team and league if needed. That was her next stop.
Her first one was behind this door.
"Um..? Hello?" Angelica Weathers spoke.
"Hi, uh. My name is Kamila Carter. Your sister - Eliza - sent me your way," she introduced, then pulled out the small card she'd been given, "but uh- there's another name you may know me by..."
