Lexi's POV

The other day Daryl took me and Beth on a run and we found a small convenient store and we got some warm clothes. It's very cold out right now so we really needed some.

" I think we should move.. Like now!" Beth yelled and I knew what she meant. Daryl told us to stay calm and quiet if a heard was coming so they wouldn't hear us. I ran to my room and grabbed all my bags. I made sure my rifle was fully loaded along with my hand gun. I out my hand gun in its holster along with my knife. I swung the rifle around my shoulder and ran to the back door where we're supposed to meet.

"Okay so remember the plan? Run straight into the woods if possible and cut right back to the road about a few hundred yards a head. If we get split up when it turns dark climb up a tree and shoot off you flair." Daryl quickly told us and we nodded. He nodded and pushed open the door. There was a few walkers but we took them down. I looked in the front of the cabin and here was hundreds of them. I started to panic and ran straight like we were supposed to.

I saw Beth's blonde hair a few feet in front of me and picked up my speed. I no longer saw her hair, so I supposed they cut right back to the road. I did so, and when I hit the pavement I tripped but was caught. I looked up and Daryl was smiling at me and brought me into a hug.

"I'm glad you made it sis." He said and I nodded. We started walking and I remembered something from our last day at the prison. I out my bag in the ground and reached inside, taking out Beth's book.

"Here." I said and handed it to her. Her pen was still in the same place it was the day she gave me my drawing book. She slowly took it out of my hand and a tear slid down her face. This book really meant a lot to her.

She engulfed me in a hug and I hugged back. She pulled away and she had the biggest smile I've saw in a long time.

"Thank you so much! This book has some of the best and worst things that happened in my life. I thought it was gone forever and I would have to find anyone and start all over." She said and out it in her bag.

After about three hours of walking, something fought my eye. It was a sign. Most of it was covered in blood except for the words, terminus. I walked closer and saw something else.

"Glenn, go to terminus! -Maggie, bob, and Sasha.

" we have to go!" I squealed and Daryl nodded.

"Than we'll go. If this means finding the group than its all we can do." He said and I smiled and hugged him.

We started walking till it got dark and we had to set up a camp on the side of some train tracks we've been following. I laid down a small pillow and inside my sleeping bag. Beth did the same next to me and Daryl sat up against a tree and started carving out a log.

"Night." I whispered to them both. I heard them say it back and I closed my eyes and cuddled up in my jacket and sleeping bag. I fell asleep dreaming that we would find everyone.
