chapter 36. Jesus

Lexi's POV

Me and carl rushed put the door and saw a man in a hey sitting on our stairs. Carl pointed his gut at his head in about 1.5 seconds.

"What the hell are you doing in our house." Carl asked.

"Sitting on your steps, looking at this painting while your parents get dressed. Hi, I'm Jesus." The man said. Jesus? Carl had a confused expression across his face. I reached for my knive slowly.

We took him downstairs and stared talking to him.

"So how'd you escape? " Rick asked.

"One guard can't guard two exits. Or a second floor window." Jesus said. I scuffed to myself and walked into the kitchen to get something to drink. I heard them talking about trading with other groups to for a larger settlement. I walked back in there and placed my hand on Carl's shoulder.

"Your world's about to get a lot bigger."

Rick decided we are going to Jesus's camp. I walked up to Carl and sighed.

"I'm going with them." I said and he glared at me.

"No. Lex, your pregnant and less then a month away from having our baby. I can't allow you to go." Carl said and i grabbed his hand.

"Look. Your not my mom. I heard him say something about medical supplies. Maggie said they might have an ultrasound machine." I said and placed my other hand on my large stomach. He sighed and pulled me into a hug. It lasted a few seconds before he pulled away and kissed me.

"Be careful and stay out of any trouble. I love you." He said and i smiled.

"i will and love you too. " i said and Rick walked up to him. I walked into the rv and sat on the other side of Maggie. 

"Alright. Let's chew up some asphalt! " Abraham yelled making me chuckle.

We finally started moving and i laid my head back. I looked over to the front and saw Rick and Michonne holding hands. Their a thing now?! Wow.

"What's going on? " i asked as we started to slow down.

"There was an accident. " Rick answered and Jesus looked up.

"it's one of ours. " he said and we stopped. Him and Rick started talking and then next thing I know we're all standing in front of a house his people may be in.

While the others went in to search the house I stayed out with Maggie and Jesus; for Carl's sake.

I heard a few bumps and grunts.

"What'd you thinks going on in here. " i asked and Jesus started pacing around, Maggie's gun following him.

So we found two of Jesus's people. I had already forgot their names.

We are in g he rv again going to their camp.

"Do you have any pregnancy vitamins?" (I forgot what their called) Glenn asked the doctor. He smiled.

"For you?" He asked Maggie and she nodded any did pointed at me.

"Any her. She's just a few weeks away. Maybe sooner." She said and i smiled. All of a sudden I felt the rv come to a jerk. We were stuck in mud.

"No need. We're here." Jesus said and we all followed him out the rv door.

"That's us. That's the Hill top." Jesus said. We all walked up to the front of the gate and men were arms with spears. They told us to put our weapons down, which knowing us,  we didn't listen.

After a lot of arguing, which I didn't bother to listen to,  we finally entered the mysterious Hill top. There was a small area with crops and a farming area. There was a large building in the middle and one side with some trailers. We for invited into the mansion by Gregory, the leader of hill top. I waited downstairs while Maggie and everyone else when upstairs. Walking great distances gives me nausea and makes me loose my breath. So I will not be going up those stairs today.

About 30 minutes later they all came downstairs and walked outside. People were yelling and i stayed on the porch of the mansion. A man walked up to Gregory and stabbed him in the stomach. I gasped and Rick tackled him to the ground. Next thing I know Rick stands the man in the neck and is drenched in blood. He stood up and looked at all the people staring at him.

"What?" He asked. A girl crying punched him in the face and Michonne pushed her down. Well look how the tables had turned.

Maggie was talking to Gregory who was now resting in bed while the rest of us was downstairs. She came down a few minutes later with a smile on her face.

"Half of everything. "She told Rick and he nodded. A man came in and said that Gregory wanted me and Maggie to visit the doctors.

Glenn came with us and we walked into the rv. There it was. The ultrasound machine.

"Who wants room go first? " he asked. Maggie nudged and i nodded. He helped me onto the bed and told me to pull pu my shirt. I did at told and let my baby bump show. He rubbed some blue gel on my stomach and got a thing and started rubbing around. I looked over at the screen and there it was. My baby was on the monitor and tears came to my eyes.

"Gender?" He asked and i nodded.

"Yes please." I said and he moved it around a little bit. 

"Well ma'am. Your having..... a girl. " he said and i smiled. He printed out the ultrasound and gave me the first picture of my baby.

While Maggie was getting hers don't i walked out and Daryl saw me crying.

"What's wrong?"he asked and i handed him the picture.

"isn't she beautiful? " i asked and he smiled.

"She.. she's stunning. "He said.and hugged me.

Maggie finished but couldn't tell for gender yet. We piles up all of our supplies they have us and age our way back home with a few new passengers. They are planning something to kill this Negan.

We finally made it home and carl was right there to greet me with a hug. I grabbed his hand and and places the picture in it. He smiled and looked at me.
"it's a girl. " i said and his eyes widened. He hugged me and kissed behind my ear.

"I love you both so much." He said and i felt a kick. Carl looked at me, signaling that he felt it to. He felt that before but every time felt so magical.

"They said I can be due any day now." I said and he smiled.

ITS A GIRL! So I determined the gender from the previous comments on the chapter asking for the gender.

Comment names  and i might use it! Hehe I'm so happy rn! Also sorry for any mistakes!
