Lexi's POV
After the day i walking in on carl and Beth talking Carl has been acting weird. He's been ignoring me, glaring at me, we used to be good friends and all but somethings changed. I've told Beth and asked about it but she said im overreacting.
" if you care so much.. maybe you like Carl." She told me once and thats all I've been thinking about. Do i like him?
I went to take a shower when i felt a tickle in my throat. i tried to cough a little bit to get it out but soon turned into a fit of coughing. It started getting hard to breath when i fell to the bathroom floor.
" Lexi are you okay?!" carl yelled and ran to me. i tried to talk but everything went black.
Carls POV
Hershel took Lexi and he said that she has a virus. a lot of people have been getting it. I kinda feel bad since I've been ignoring her. i Only have been cause everyone that i loved has either gotten hurt or killed.I saw Hershel walk out of cell block D, where to sick people are staying, and ran up to him.
" is Lexi okay?" i asked and he gave me a weak smile.
" shes not as bad as the others, but lets hope she'll get better soon." he said and started walking out a door.
" Where you going?" i asked and he stopped.
" I need to get some elderberries to make tea for them. It brings down the cold." He said and walked out the door.
" Well your not going alone." I said and walked out behind him.
When we found a bush with some of the berries on it, I kept watch as he picked them and put them in a bag. I put my silencer on my gun and looked at our surroundings.
Lexi's POV
I opened my eyes and I realized I was in a dirty cell. I sat up in the bed and groaned. I felt like my insides were... I don't even know! Doctor S. walked in and handed me a cup of water and painkillers. I gladly took them and sighed.
" Who else is in here?" I asked him.
" A few people from Woodbury Lizzy, and Glenn." He said and my eyes widened. I got up but doctor s pushed me back in the bed.
" Sorry but you need to rest. " He said and left. I laid back down until Lizzy walked in my cell.
" Lexi, I'm scared." She said and started crying. I pulled her beside me in bed and wrapped my arm around her.
" Why what's wrong?" I asked and she looked up at me.
" I heard doctor s talking to Hershel and said some of us might not live." She told me and bursted into tears again. I might... Die.

Hershel came in and gave me some tea he says that it brings down the fever. It was actually pretty good.
" Hershel, if you get the chance can you tell carl to come visit me?" I asked and he smiled.
" Of course I will. Now try to get some sleep." He told me and left. I did what he said and laid down and closed my eyes.
