Chapter 33. Surviving

Lexi's POV

  I walled outside and heard the growls and knocks of the walkers outside the walls. I looked up and saw Maggie at the guard tower. She says that's where Glenn will come from and she wants to be the first to see him. I wouldn't blame her.

I felt down at my small baby bump and smiled. I saw Carl walking over to me when something caught my eye. There were a few green balloons floating over Alexandria. They were our marking balloons.

Maggie ran past me over to Rick.

"That's Glenn." She kept repeating.

I heard a cracking sound and looked over. An old looking building outside the wall fell. Taking some of the wall down with it. Walkers flooded into the gap and that's  where I froze. It's like I couldn't heard anything. Just seeing the safe place getting overrun and the thought of people dying. These people don't know what's it like to live out there.

"Everybody get inside a house now!" Rick yelled.

"Lexi!" Carl screamed. He grabbed my and and we began running the opposite way. Carl ran and walkers were everywhere. I felt as if I let go of his hand I would be taken away, no way back alive.

"Shit shit." He muttered and turned back around. I noticed Ron following us.

"Carl!" I heard Rick yelled and we followed him. We were trapped in a circle as the walkers crowded around us. I got out my gun and shot Twitter down before run shots rung from behind us.

"Come on!" Jessie said from her house. We ran inside and Rick and Michonne was carrying a hurt Deanna upstairs. Carl pulled me upstairs with him and Judith started crying.

"Lexi please talk to me." Carl said and shook my shoulders.

"I'm- I'm scared." I muttered. He sighed and hugged me.

"We'll make it." He said. I can hear loud music from sam's room playing and it annoyed me.

"He needs to turn that off. It will only attract more." Rick said and Jessie ran to Sam's room.

"Jailyn!  We have to find her!" I said to Carl. 

"Babe if we go out there we will not make it back a live!" He said back. I sighed and walked upstairs and sat at the staircase. I hard glass break and I ran downstairs.  Rick and Jessie were banging on the door to the garage.

"Ron! Carl!" Rick yelled. Finally the door opened and they hurried up and shut it cause walkers were in the garage.

"What the hell was going on in there?!" Rick yelled at carl. He scuffed and followed Ron upstairs.  I went up there too and they were in ron's room. I then heard gun shots and ran into sam's room and looked out the window. Sam backed up and jumped on his bed. I looked up to the tree that was right next to Sam's window and saw Jailyn shooting walkers.

"Jailyn!" I screamed and she looked at me. She started freaking out and noticed there was a branch right in front of the window.

"Try to get over here!" I yelled at her. She nodded and started to crawl. She slipped but her hands grabbed the branch just in time. I heard her scream and walkers started grabbing at her feet. She started to slowly inch her way across the branch until she finally made it to the window. I helped pull her in and she had tears running down her face. I pulled her into a hug and she hugged back. Sam still didn't turned off his music. Me and Jailyn got up and started walking out. I stopped st the door and looked at Sam.

"Turn off the damn music." I said before walking out.

Jessie started handing out sheets and told us to cut out head and arm holes. rick brought two dead walkers in and cut them open.

"Are you sure you know what your doing?!" Jessie asked Rick. He just looked and her and nodded. 

"I've done this before." He said and started to rub walker blood all over him. I put my sheet over my head and helped Carl put Judith under his. He looked at me and smiled.

"Stay with me, okay?" He said and I nodded.

"I promise. I love you so much."i said and hugged him, trying not to squish judith.

"i love you guys too." I said and i felt his hand rub my stomach. I smiled and put my hair in a ponytail. Carl kissed me and Jessie helped me rub walker blood all over my sheet.

When everyone was covered Rick thought it'd be all good idea to hold hands so we all stay together. Carl was in front of me holding my left hand while Jailyn was holding my right.

Rick nodded all us and opened the door. The sound of walkers was the only thing I could hear in the crowded streets. A walker bumped into my shoulder and at growled at me. All the walkers thought we were just another dead soul in the street. Not living.

As we made our way through the street I heard Sam calling for his mom.

"Mom...mom...MOM!" He yelled. I looked back and started to think the walkers didn't think we were wakers.

Hey everybody! Sorry for not updating in like a month. I've been really busy with the holidays and such. Oh and Merry late Christmas!  And happy new year.

I hope that 2016 will bring you all good luck and safety!

If there are lots of spelling mistakes I am truly sorry. My iPad got stolen and it had all of my things on there.

Family pictures, my meet and greet pictures from when I met Taylor Caniff and all my shawn mendes concert videos and pictures. It really sucks.
