Chapter 16. New arrival

Lexi's POV

I heard something banging on the door. I shot up and grabbed my gun walking over to the door. Daryl and Glenn were behind me and I looked through a crack. I saw a white jacket and black long hair.

" it's a girl." I said. " I got it."

  I ran to the back and opened the door, quietly walking around the front. When I saw yesterday girl I put my gun up and moved towards her.

  "What are you doing!?" I yelled and she turned around. She had a small frame and she looked scared. She dropped her bat and out her hands up.

"Please don't shoot. I'm just trying to find somewhere to stay." She said and cried. I kept my gun aimed at her as I walked up to the door.

"Meet me at the back door!" I yelled at Daryl. I grabbed the girls arm and pushed her till we made it to the back. Daryl walked out and grabbed her as I shut the door behind us. He shoved her against a wall and Rick walked in.

"Who are you?" He asked and she started to cry.

"Ally...Jones." She said through cries and Rick took her in the next room to ask her questions. I put my gun back in its holster and went and sat over by carl who was playing with Judith. He smiled at me and Judith giggled.

"Hey." I said and he looked at me and lightly placed his lips on mine.

"What was hat all about." He asked and I looked over at Ally, who was walking out of the door.

" new girl. Her names Ally." He said and looked up at her. I looked at her, than him. They were staring at each other. I was about to get up when carl grabbed my hand.

"Hey. I'm yours, you don't have to worry about loosing me to some other girl, and that's a promise. I love you and only you." He said and I smiled and kissed him.

"I love you too." I told him.

  " I think we caught off at the wrong track, I'm Lexi" I told ally as I sat down next to her. She smiled and shook my hand.

"Ally." She said and I nodded.

"So who is everyone?" She added and I looked around.

"That's Rick the leader, his daughter Judith and his son Carl, who is my boyfriend." I paused and she nodded. " Beth and Maggie and sisters and Glenn and Maggie are married, that's Carol, Tyreese, Sasha, Daryl is my brother, then there's bob...''

  After I told her everyone I introduced her to them. She really nice and she told me about her background, who she was before this. Everything. She's over talking with Beth right now while I'm sitting next to carl.

"I'm tired." I said and lawned, laying my head on his shoulder.

"Than sleep" he said and kissed my head. He laid down and and I laid in front of him. My back was pressed to his stomach and he wrapped his arms around my waist. I closed my eyes and fell asleep, feeling safe. Something I haven't felt in a long time.
