Lexi's POV
It's been maybe a couple weeks since the while walker break in. I mostly fixed the walls and helping Maggie start planting today.
I got.up from my bed and changed into a black tank top and some jeans. I put my hair in a ponytail and looked in the mirror. My large belly was all I noticed and smiled. Denise says I might be due as soon as a few weeks. It's all going by really fast.
I walked downstairs and saw Carl holding judith. I snuck up behind them and said "Boo!" Carl jumped and i laughed.
"Don't do that!" He said and chuckled. I kissed his cheek and sat down.
"Why didn't you wake me sooner?" I said and he put Judith down.
"Cause you need your sleep." He said and i smiled. Rick walked down and smiled at us.
"Me and Daryl's going on a run. Might take a while so watch out over everything. " he said and gave me a side hug and hugged carl. Carl nodded in response and Rick left.
"I'm going to help Maggie start planting." I said and kissed him. He yelled a " be careful" as I walked out.
I walked across Alexandria to the gardens to see Maggie and Glenn.
"Hey guys. What can I do to help?" I asked and they looked at me.
"Well you can hand us the seeds. There's not much you can do with your belly." Gann said and i frowned but agreed. I took the cucumber seeds in my hand and handed them each seed one at a time.
We decided to take a break and I went to Carols. I knocked on the door and she opened it and let me in.
"How you holding up Lexi?" She asked as we walked to the kitchen. She handed me a large cup of water and i drunk it down.
"Good. Better then I was a few weeks ago. What about you?" I asked.and she sighed.
"Just wonderful. I think this place is getting to be safe again. Don't you?" She asked and i nodded.
"Definitely. It's getting stronger than before but we need food and medical supplies. But it's still a good.place when i have the baby." I said and she nodded. We talked for a little bit longer before I went to our house. I saw Carl feeding Judith as she feel asleep in his arms.he laid her down on the other side of the couch and i smiled.
"Your going to be such a good dad." I said and grabbed his hand. He sighed and leaned his head against mine.
"I hope. I want to five you two everything that I can in our position. I'm just hoping things will get better. " he mumbled and i nodded. We sat in the kitchen and ate some cookies we had left.

We put Judith in her bed and me and no carl went to our room. I laid down and sighed. Today was a long day. Carl laid next to me and leaned over to kiss me.
"Night lex. Love you." He said and i smiled.
"Love you to carl." I said. I closed my eyes but was jolted up by a sudden sound.
"Rick. Rick... get up." Someone whispered from across the hall.
