secret loving hurts pt. 2

He was hoping that Hyunjin will give him a second chance, that he will forgive him and the other members for the teasing. For hurting him and causing so much pain that he had to break up with him to heal.

The weeks passed and soon it was the first month after Minhos and Hyunjins breakup. Hyunjin was barely talking, barely being seen around the others like before, he kept to himself most of the time, headphones on or whatever was closest to him to block the noises out. He tried to eat and sleep like he used too even though he failed most of the times to fall asleep, lost his appetit as soon as the food was in front of him or he smelled it.

It was obvious that he lost a bit of wait, the fans noticed, the members noticed, the stylist noticed when dressing him. But no one said anything, not yet at least. Practice was still the same, they joked around and laughed... just without Hyunjins adorable laugh as he retrieved into a corner, sipped on his bottle and stared at the floor, quietly. Chan now having enough of this pitiful sight of the usual lively boy approached him this one time during a break of practice, sitting down next to him, but saying nothing.

Being the leader and oldest and together with those boys for a while now he knew every expression and what it meant, and Hyunjins expression at the moment was moments away from another breakdown, his eyes glazed over as he tried to old back his emotions. "Come here, Jinnie..", he said and tugged gently at his hand. Hyunjin looked at his Hyung, teary eyed, hesitating before he leaned into the comforting embrace of his Hyung, bawling his eyes out, making the conversation of the other memebers coming to a hold. They all came closer, pulling him into a group hug, just not Minho, he wasnt sure if Hyunjin would even appreciate his touch at the moment.

His heart ached as he watch the boy suffer so much. The dark bags under his eyes, the way his slender frame was growing thinner, the slight shaking of his hands, the avoidance of eye contact. Everything just screamed at him to push them all away and gather the boy in his arms, wrapping him up in a blanket and kiss all the pain and worries away, keeping him safe and protected in his arms. He clenched his hands into fists, holding himself back from doing exactly that, but the look Chan gave him broke all the fight he put up, so he got up, walked over, squeezed through his members and picked Hyunjins slender and trembling frame up, holding him in his arms and letting him cry everything out.

"Please give me another chance..." He whispered into his ear, feeling the younger boy cling to him like a lifeline. All he heard was the uneven breathing, the heartbreaking sobs that left those pretty plump lips he loved. He sat down on the couch in the room, gently lifting his head so their gazes met for the first time after this whole goddamn month. "My baby... please stop those tears.." He whispered tendely, using his thumbs to wipe them from his soft skin.

Hyunjins breath hitched in his throat when he looked into Minhos eyes, the way they softened when he saw the tear stained face, how he looked at him so lovingly it all took Hyunjins breath away and soothed his troubled mind and broken heart. "Please... please give me another chance.. let me proof to you that i love you and no one else. Please Hyunie..." Minho whispered, tugging a strand of his long hair behind his ear, as he leaned in close. 

Struggling with his emotins, Hyunjin just kept looking at Minho for a while, before speaking up in a soft and shaky voice. "Promise... promise you dont leave me again.. p-promise me.. that you wont tease again... that... t-that you show everyone that im yours and your mine..." he said, looking hopefully into Minhos eyes. "I promise you that. No more hiding who you belong too. I promise i wont let you leave me again. I wont let you break up with me again ever." He whispered, then leaned in to kiss those soft and plump lips he love so much, Chan took that as his cue to snap a picture of those too kissing.

Because what Hyunjin didnt knew was that Minho got the permission from JYP to finally announce their relationship to the fans, and why not doing it with a pretty kiss picture, and maybe some following ones. Announcing it on all their social media platforms, knowing full well this will be a huge step for both of them but also the group. But for now the most important point is to get Hyunjin rested and feed so the poor boy get his energy back.

The first step in the right direction is done as he drifted off to sleep in Minhos arms, changing the whole atmosphere between the boys but also in the practice room. "Lets get him home and let him rest.. we have to care care of him now that he let us in again.. we all have tokeep an eye on him, no more teasing. we have to make it up to him not matter what." Chan spoke softly, looking fondly over to Minho and Hyunjin. It was clear how much both boys loved each other, the tenderness in Minhos eyes, the gentle touches as he keept Hyunjin comfortable on his lap while rubbing his back and cheeks. The way Hyunjin clinged to Minho even in his sleep.

They promised themselves to never seperate those too from each other ever again.

a few weeks later

Another performance was soon to start, the boys were excited, the Fans were singing and chanting their names, making the anticipation even bigger. One of the staff members came to them, smiling. "Guys. Youre out in five! Get ready!" They nodded, grabbing their mics and waited for the go to head on stage. When it was the time, they run on stage getting in positions and soon the music started, from Walking on water, to ceremony, to 0801, to in my head. The simple performance soon turned into literally their own concert. 

The boys wore big grins on their faces as they heard the fans singing along. Holding their mis out, removing their in-ears and listened to them finish in my head. Cheering with big smile, just for the staff to restart the last bit of the song again. Making their performance longer then planned, but no one minded it. After really finishing it, they rushed back intot he backstage area, adrenaline running through their veins as they chattered loudly with each other about said happening. 

Their job was done, so they got changed out of their stage clothes, into their comfy and casual clothes, grabbing the rest of their belongings,  before getting into the van and off to a restaurant to eat together, Minho and Hyunjin sitting next to each other, still invested in the excied chatter with hte other.

The internet blew up after the announcement of Hyunjin and Minhos relationship. Soon they also had their first interview getting asked random things,  before the topic of their relationship got spoken about,  and Hyunjin nor Minho couldnt help but beam with pride for this love they shared.
