Seo Changbin, 17 years and Kim Seungmin 16 years are both hybrids. Their group of friends, which consists of 'normal' people, didn't know one important thing about the two: They are stepbrothers! The two bicker and annoy each other non-stop. And every now and then, their friends have just one thought in their heads: The two have a tom and jerry relationship. Yes, you read that right, the six boys think that Seungmin and Changbin are in a relationship because they sometimes treat each other lovingly. 

The two hybrids just don't know yet that Chan, Minho, Hyunjin, Jisung, Felix and Jeongin think that way, but that should soon change. It was a completely normal school day for the eight boys, the only difference is that Seungmin suddenly felt bad over the last few hours. He felt dizzy and suddenly so cold. During the lunch break, he had his worried stepbrother by his side, who put his hand around his waist when he saw Seungmin swaying. "Minnie? Is everything okay?" He asked worriedly, which the other six who arrived one after the other noticed. 

Seungmin shook his head and clung to his brother. "Calm down... you haven't had anything to drink again, huh?" Changbin asked quietly, but he didn't get an answer to his question. "Minnie... come on... answer me..." He pleaded quietly, but before he got one, he had to sink down to the ground with his brother because his legs giving out. Chan immediately dug a water bottle out of his backpack and handed it to the cat hybrid. "Drink, puppy!" Changbin said seriously and Seungmin did so. They sat like that for a while until Seungmin let go of Changbin and slowly stood up. 

"Are you okay?" With a gentle nod, Changbin also stood up and held his brother tight, and they marched off towards the cafeteria where Changbin got something to eat for himself and his brother. When Seungmin was sitting at the table with Hyunjin and Minho, the two older ones noticed that the puppy hybrid seemed to be cold, so Hyunjin stood up and put his jacket over his shoulders. "Everything ok, puppy?" Minho asked, but when Seungmin shook his head and looked at him with glassy eyes, panic shot through both of their bodies. Changbin, who sensed this for some reason, ran out of the queue to his brother, whom he immediately took in his arms, where he then began to cry. 

"Minnie... I think I'll go home with you, hm? I don't like the way you behave right now at all..." Minho, Hyunjin, and the others who followed Changbin agreed that he should definitely take Seungmin home. Days passed and the cold that Seungmin caught came out, which is why the six boys always came by to visit the sick boy, but Changbin and Seungmin couldn't even resist teasing each other for fun. And then it happened, then Felix finally said what the six had been thinking the whole time. 

Seungmin was just taking a big sip of his tea when Felix said very dryly, "You are such a cute couple, but so confusing!" with a big smile on his face. Sungmin spat the tea out and stared at Changbin with wide eyes, as did the cat hybrid. "What? What did you say?" Changbin asked. "That you're a cute couple but so-.." - "And that's exactly where we stop! Do you all think we're a couple???" When the other five nodded, Seungmin and Changbin stared at each other with wide eyes. "Nahh, let's stop that! We are and will always be stepbrothers, that's all! Since we were little, we've been like this... just the way we are now..." And so a huge discussion ensued between the eight and later only seven because Seungmin fell asleep from exhaustion.
