Only when Minho and Felix were asleep again did the others allow themselves to sleep too, even if it was on the couch, which is actually much too small for so many people.

a few months later

A few months have passed since Felix was found by Hyunjin, Jisung and Chan, and since then the four of them have stayed with Hyunjin and Seungmin the whole time. Felix's mom was informed that her son was fine and with the permission of Seungmin and Hyunjin, Minho was able to give her the address and a week later she was standing in front of the young couple's door. "Good morning Miss.. You are Ms. Lee, Felix and Minho's mom, right?" Hyunjin asked as he opened the door, and when the lady nodded, he opened the door wider and let her in with a simple hand gesture. And just as she was about to take off her shoes, Hyunjin stopped her.

"Ma'am... leave your shoes on... it's okay.." He said, she smiled at him gratefully and followed him into the living room where the rest were sitting. "Boys.. Felix.. Minho... We have a visitor.." He said and stepped aside. When Felix saw his mom, he immediately started crying and stood up and ran into her arms. Minho, however, stayed seated and smiled, but when he saw his mom's look, he slowly stood up and approached the two of them, where seconds later he was pulled into a hug. They were crying. Minho, Felix and Ms. Lee were crying. They whispered things that the others couldn't understand until Minho and Ms. Lee sat down and Felix was pulled onto his mom's lap.

"I'll get something to drink... and then we can answer everything you want to know, okay?" Seungmin said and stood up to do exactly what he said. When he came back, he sat down next to his boyfriend again and they looked more or less expectantly at Felix and Minho's mom. "What... what happened?... I can't get a word out of my husband... the only thing he said was that Felix ran away... but that can't be... it just c-can't be..." she said with tears in her eyes. "Mom... what do you mean?..." Minho asked and looked at her confused.

"He is terrified of going out alone after everything that happened to him... that's why he is being home-schooled... when I came home in the evening and wanted to look for him and couldn't find him, I turned the whole house upside down only to get this much... much too calm answer from my husband that he ran away... I-I want to know what happened... because it's true that he ran away otherwise he wouldn't be here... but that he just ran away like that doesn't make s-sense..." She said and took a deep breath and just then Lixie turned to her on her lap.

"'andma.. it 'andpa gwo?.. 'andpa nwo h-hwom nwo m-mowe?.." Minho, like the others, knew why he was asking this and it broke their hearts. And the silence he got in response made him start to cry. "Wixie now gwo wit 'andma nwo mowe? Wixie stayted wit fwends and T'annie?.." he sobbed. Ms. Lee looked at her son with tears in her eyes, but he turned around and looked at Chan, who had become a very important person for little Lixie. Chan stood up and took Lixie in his arms where he cried his heart out. Jisung, however, did not like that, nor the look from Felix's mom, which is why he stood up and walked towards Chan.

"Lixie sweetie.. are you going to play with Channie in Lino's room? Hannie, Minnie, Jinnie and Mimo have to talk to grandma and that's not for little lixies.. is that okay sweetheart?" Jisung said. Lixie looked at Hannie with big eyes and his only concern was "Mimo now pway wit Lixie?" Jisung looked at his boyfriend who stood up and took Lixie from Chan's arms. "Baby.. let's make a deal.. Lixie and mimo.. when mimo is done here, he'll come to you and Channie and then we'll play together for the rest of the day, okay?" This seemed to be enough for Lixie, because he hugged his brother tightly and wanted to go back into Chan's arms, so Chan was able to leave the room and only when they heard the door did they start talking.

"Mom.. lixie won't come with you.. not if 'Dad' is at home.. he's the reason why Chan, Hyunjin and Jisung found him. He told me that dad yelled at him and hit him and then he ran away, but he hurt himself when he tried to run away.. but that's long since been better.. Mom.. dad hit and yelled at him while he was in his headspace.. lixie didn't mention what he yelled and Felix doesn't talk about it at all.. he was running around outside alone and because he ran into Chan, Hyunjin and Jisung, he ended up here and that's how he saw me... he cried so much.. mom... he's so traumatized that he says I shouldn't leave him again... and now this..." Minho said as the first tears ran down his cheeks.

"Tell me what to do... I'm really a-at a loss of ideas... we've tried so many things... but nothing helps... it's just getting worse... tell me what to do and I will do it..." She said and cried as well. Hyunjin, Seungmin and Jisung stood up and hugged the two of them. Jisung his boyfriend and Hyunjin and Seungmin Ms. Lee. Seungmin was the one who had an idea and spoke up. "I don't like getting involved in things... but I have an idea... but we would have to get Chan and Lixie back for that..." Because everyone nodded, he broke away from Ms. Lee and marched off to get Chan and Lixie. When he opened the door, Lixie came crawling over. "Oh... hi Lixie... are you coming with Minnie?" He asked the boy who just stared at him. "Well, i'll take that as a yes then." And so he left the room.

Chan also stood up and followed the two of them without saying a word. Seungmin knew that Lixie was probably younger than usual, because he had his pacifier in his mouth and it was attached to his onesie. Chan was also holding his stuffie named Wolfie in his hand. Anyway, they arrived back in the living room and since Seungmin now had Lixie on his lap, he sat down somewhere else with Chan.

"Here's the thing... Chan... Ms. Lee, my idea so that Felix and Lixie could feel better... if it's okay with you, Chan... would be to bring him with you... Lixie is hanging on to you like a leech, as is Felix... he seems to feel comfortable and safe with you and this could be the decisive point for him to heal... However, you, Ms. Lee, and you, Chan, have to be okay with it, but so do Felix and Lixie..." Chan and Ms. Lee looked at each other and immediately agreed. "We're in." The two said, Seungmin and the others had a smile on their faces. "I just want him to get better... but he's not making any progress at home... but maybe when he's with Chan... And please call me Mom... Ms. Lee sounds a bit too polite under these circumstances and it makes me feel old." They laughed.

Lixie, who of course didn't understand any of it, squealed along when they started laughing and so they played with Lixie and later with Lino, who ran straight to Lixie. Ms. Lee looked at her two sons and before she could do anything, Lino came stumbling over and Lixie crawled over, both hugged her, which brought tears to her eyes again. When the little ones were asleep, they sat together in the kitchen, where Chan gave his address to Ms. Lee.

"We're still with Hyunjin and Seungmin for a while, I don't know how we're going to do it, do you want to bring his things that I need here or directly to me? If you want to bring them directly to me, then the others will definitely look after Lixie and I can go with you and we can drive to my place together with the things... it's your decision..." He said and the lady nodded. "Are you looking after the two of them?... My husband shouldn't be at home right now... and so we can pack Felix and Lixie's things together... if it's okay I'll also give his private teacher your address as soon as you give me the go-ahead... it's too early now... but if you look after the two of them we could do this now and Lixie wouldn't notice that Chans gone."

With a simple nod from the three of them, the two of them rushed to the front door, where Chan slipped on his shoes and grabbed his jacket and they ran together to Mom's car and drove home to the Lees to pack Felix and Lixie's most important things.
