And in the end, he had eaten more than he thought he could and Hyunjin was proud of it, but he still left it without a comment. 

a few months later

Over the last few months, Hyunjin and Felix became a lot closer, but you could still see the big question mark over Felix's head because he didn't understand what was going on and why he was so attached to Hyunjin. The other six of course assumed that Hyunjin would enlighten the boy, because as soon as you feel the first signs that something is wrong, you know that it is the right time, the big and special bond between you and your mate with the bite to unite. However, Hyunjin didn't do this and so the whole and painful process began. 

The first week it wasn't noticeable, Felix and Hyunjin were completely normal, but the following week the first signs appeared that Felix wasn't feeling well. He refused to eat and was a little pale around the nose, but that was it at first. The following week, however, this was no longer something to be taken lightly. Felix could hardly stand up straight or walk on his own, he hunched over and did his best not to let it show, but you simply can't hide such noticeable symptoms. 

Meanwhile, Hyunjin also grimaced every now and then because he also felt the pain that Felix felt, just not in the same pain factor as Felix himself. This went on until the blonde collapsed, Hyunjin was just able to catch himself on the wall and sat down on the floor. Of course, the others also noticed this and Chan and Minho immediately knew what was going on. "Jinnie.. please don't tell me that you two haven't done this whole biting process yet.." Minho said while picking up the younger Omega. As Hyunjin just looked at the ground, he sighed and looked at the others. "Let's get these two home!" Chan then said, helping Hyunjin up while Minho had Felix in his arms. 

The others got their backpacks and so they left the school building and marched off to Hyunjin's home. Once there, Hyunjin unlocked the front door with Chan's help and both of them were put on the couch. When the others had gotten rid of their shoes and jackets, they sat down with the Hyunlix couple in the living room. "Jinnie, why haven't you acted yet? You know that the worse the symptoms get, the closer you both get to death, right? Why haven't you talked to him about it? You don't have time to explain all this to him now, you have to act now and fast." Minho said and right then Felix came to consciousness and started crying because of the pain. 

"Jinnie... make it stop please.." he sobbed, and the others saw this as their point to leave the room. Minho looked at Hyunjin one last time and closed the living room door. Hyunjin just sat there for a while until Felix cried out in pain and begged Hyunjin again to do something about it. He picks up the boy's smaller frame and places him on his lap. "Lixie, you have to listen to me carefully now, okay? As soon as the next wave of pain comes, you bite my neck, next to my scent glands, okay? I'll do that to you too, then the pain will be gone, okay?" Felix just sobbed, and then the next wave of pain came, Felix leaned in and bit Hyunjin's neck and Hyunjin did the same to Felix. 

After this process, Hyunjin immediately felt the change, he could no longer feel the pain, but he now felt what Felix felt and thought. However, at the moment he wasn't thinking anything, but he was very overwhelmed by what had just happened, which is why he was still crying terribly. Hyunjin put his arms around the younger boy's body and tried to calm him down. When that didn't work, he released some of his rainy scent and only then did the blonde relax on his lap. Some time passed when the others came back into the living room, Hyunjin smiled slightly at them and focused again on the now sleeping boy on his lap. 

When everyone was seated again, Minho was the first to ask. "And?" Hyunjin smiled slightly and nodded, he slowly took one hand from the younger boy's body and pulled down his hoodie a little, where Felix's bite was visible. Everyone was relieved, but it didn't seem that Hyunjin was it too. "Hyunie... What's wrong? You're not going to be happy about it?..." Jisung mumbled and pouted.

"It's not that I'm not happy, it's the thought that Felix doesn't know what he did, what it meant to have a mate and all that... after the mate bite happened, he didn't stop crying and I could feel all these confusing emotions from him, which is why I had to calm him down and then he fell asleep. My situation is not as easy as yours was... everyone of you knew what they were getting into with that bite, but Felix didn't know and doesn't know what he was getting himself into. Yes, we were both meant to be together, but how is he supposed to understand that when no one has ever been able to explain it to him and until a few months ago he was still terrified of everything and everyone but mainly alphas.." he said and was silent again, as he felt Felix's eyes on him.

The whole time Hyunjin did nothing and looked at Felix, and instead of communicating out loud, they did it through the bond they now had to hear each other's thoughts. 'I'm sorry Lixie..' Nothing. 'What... what exactly have we done now?' He asked and looked at Hyunjin expectantly. 'This bite... it was there to complete what is between us... we are practically bonded together now through this bite, I can feel what you feel, and vice versa, you can feel what I feel. However, just like me, you can hear what I am thinking.. because that's exactly what we're doing right now.. we're not talking loudly and with words that you're hearing right now... That's this bond we have now..' Hyunjin mumbled and wanted to lower his head, but Felix's hands stopped him. 

'I've kind of understood that now too.. but what is a mate? You all talked about this mate and I don't know that and especially who that should be..' he said and now had a pout on his face. 'Oh Lixie.. I'm your mate.. you have your mate, you don't have to look for him.. and what that means is.. well.. simply... a mate will be chosen for you as soon as you present as an alpha, omega or, as in Seungmin's case, beta. From this point on, there is a person somewhere close to you with whom you feel connected without saying anything... do you understand? That's why you let me calm you down a few months ago when you had those bad panic attacks... remember?' Felix nodded, making Hyunjin smile. 

'Are you okay with spending your whole life with me?' There was silence until he heard Felix's thoughts and giggled. 'Why did he ask something like that?? As if I would say no to such a handsome and loving boy!!!' And then Hyunjin giggled and looked lovingly at Felix. "Baby... you know... that now I know what your thinking, right?..." Felix looked at the boy in front of him with big eyes and red cheeks until he hid his face in the crook of Hyunjin's neck. "You didn't hear anything!!" he mumbled, which made Hyunjin giggle again. "Well... I heard nothing and don't even know what you actually have." And while the two had their silent conversation, the others did too, until the two started talking loudly again.

That is a random end i know, but i wanted to make it end here, because i dont know how i should continued it, because what i wanted to write, i already did.
