scared little boy pt. 4

Little Jinnie: Age before: 2-4 Age after: babyspace - 1 ½
Triggers/Warnings: trauma (thats why hes scared - makes sense, right?)

"I'm sorry.. I didn't want you to worry about me, especially since you don't even know me.. the reason why I couldn't get in touch for the last t-three years was..." 

"The reason why I couldn't get in touch for the last t-three years was... was because of m-my parents... u-uhm... as I already told you... I'm actually an age regressor... my parents didn't know this... and it should have stayed that way... but they found out from somewhere... and uhm... before I had o-officially moved in with you... oh man... why is that so hard... my parents locked me in the basement before I could react... I-I was in my headspace at that point, which didn't make it any better... I was so scared... I didn't know what that was about, why they were locking me up when I wanted to moved out... I got so much to eat and drink that I survived the last three years down there... 

...but yesterday they made a mistake... t-they got a call... and s-so they put m-my food in front of me and r-ran upstairs and left everything open... sometime later I heard the front door slam shut and then the engine of their car... and then I ran. I ran to my room.. got all my packed things and took the next best taxi to the train station to get on the train to Seoul.. then sometime after 12:30 a.m. today I was sitting on this bench and finally knew what time it was and what day it was.. 

...only then did I realise that I had really been locked up down there since I was nineteen and that I was able to escape when I turned 22... but it didn't stop there.. I saw all the messages from Chan and wrote him a simple hey... I think you know that he called me... the reason the call ended was because I saw my parents' car and them getting out and then I immediately panicked again and I dropped my phone and it broke immediately. I was running for a while and ended up, as I now understood, behind your trash can and that big container thing... and how you became aware of me was through my phone which I had thrown out of frustration and yes..." 

Countless tears ran down his cheeks while Chan and Minho hugged him as he started to shake in the middle of his story. Nobody said anything, everyone had to process what Hyunjin had just said. "I don't want to go back there, please..." He begged and that was the breaking point for some of the other boys, who now had countless tears rolling down their cheeks. Minho took care of Hyunjin again to calm him down, while Chan tried to calm the other three who were also crying. It took a long time until they managed to calm Hyunjin down, but when they did, they didn't dare make a sound. 

He slept peacefully in the arms of one of the other boys whose name he still didn't know, but he woke up an hour later. "What are your names?" He said and so he had the attention of the others again. "You're awake again..." The boy in whose arms he was murmured and Hyunjin nodded. "My name is Kim Seungmin, and I'm 21 years old." Seungmin said and Hyunjin nodded. "My name is Lee Minho and I'm 24 years old. And you already know my name and I'm 25 years old." Chan said after Minho introduced himself. "I am Seo Changbin, and I'm 23 years old. And my name is Yang Jeongin and I'm 20 years old." Changbin and Jeongin said. "We are Lee Felix and Han Jisung and we are both 21 years old." The two said, Hyunjin separated from Seungmin, sat down next to him and looked at everyone. 

"Jisung, Felix, Jeongin, Changbin, Minho, Channie and Seungmin, right?" He said and the group nodded. "I don't know if you want to talk about it, but would you tell us a little more about little Jinnie?" Felix asked and looked questioningly at Hyunjin. His gaze, however, darted to the others and when they all looked at him and seemed to be waiting, he nodded. "Uhm... do you have any specific questions about that?" He asked and Felix shook his head. "No, I'm just interested in how old you are when you're in your headspace, what you like and don't like, things like that, you know?" Hyunjin nodded and started to talk, and the more he talked about it, the more he noticed that he was slipping back into his headspace. 

To distract himself, he started playing with his hands and avoided eye contact with the others around him. But this didn't help and while he was still talking, he slipped completely into his headspace, which is why he stopped and looked around the room with those childlike eyes. The others quickly noticed this change and smiled. "Hey Jinnie." Jeongin said, getting the little boy's attention. He stood up and walked towards him until he sat down in front of him and grinned at him. "Will you tell Innie how old Jinnie is?" Jeongin whispered, Jinnie grinned at him and proudly raised one of his fingers. "Oh wow, Jinnie is already a big boy!" Jeongin said with a broad grin, this elicited a giggle from Jinnie, which made the others all watch the two lovingly.

He stared around the room for a few more minutes before looking back at Jeongin. "I-Innie? D'innie, D-D'innie 'aci?" Jeongin stood up, picked up Jinnie, who started to squeak and said "Of course Jinnie gets his pacifier." And so he marched upstairs with the boy to his suitcases, he let the boy down on the floor and sat down next to him. "Jinnie, can you tell Innie where Jinnie's pacifier is, hm?" Jinnie, however, shook his head and pouted. "D'innie nwo nwo." Jeongin smiled, stood up and called to the others. 

"Jinnie, can Innie and the others look for your pacifier? And maybe your stuffie or blankie?" Jinnie nodded quickly and so the seven of them searched through Hyunjin's things until Minho took out the box and had Jinnie right next to him. "Oh, who's there next to me? There's Jinnie!" He said and Jinnie giggled. However, he pointed to the lid of the box and then to Minho and said "Off. Off. Wino off." Minho did as he was told and then took out the contents, he gave Jinnie his stuffie and the blankie, which he grabbed straight away, and passed the pacifier behind him so that someone could wash it. 

Minutes later he got it back and presented it to Jinnie. "Jinnie, look what Lino has." Jinnie looked straight at Lino and when he saw his pacifier his eyes lit up, he opened his mouth and waited for Minho to put it in his mouth. He did so without hesitation and attached the chain to his shirt. "Oh my gosh! He's even cuter than before!" Felix and Jisung said, with Seungmin and Jeongin agreeing. Meanwhile, Chan and Changbin found more things that belonged to Jinnie, like cute onesies, diapers, baby wipes and much more. They put them to the side for later and watched the other five playing with Jinnie.
