Prunce Sevilla Villa, Italy

Sitra's POV

I spotted the 6 black trucks rolling up the hills of Prunce. The flags on the front of the truck in the middle was a dead giveaway.

"We've been found," I said to Spade, who was clinging to me. Jewel was fast asleep.

My heart was beating fast as I placed Spade into the crib, he started to cry and quickly found his binky, tucked it into his mouth hoping it would soothe him while I tried to catch my breath and tidy myself a bit.

The trucks came to a halt and the men who kept the Villa in its pristine condition, went out to speak with someone in the leading truck.

Spade was now sleeping by the time they came knocking on the door. I straightened myself the best I could and opened the door. "Mr. Yasin."

"Hello Sitora." He still didn't say it right but I appreciated his effort.

"You can send them up," I said and he smiled with a nod and left. I went to look at my babies, my eyes welled up with tears.

The very anticipated knock came on the door once more. I got up, put on my brave face and opened the door.

"Mom." My voice trembled.

"Sitra-Atora." My name rolled off her tongue. She looked me up and down in the utmost disgusting way imaginable.

"Uh- come in." I stepped up to allow her to walk into the room. She acted as if she was stepping into hot lava. I nodded to her security and closed the door.

"I would ask how you found me but that would be a total waste. Right?"

Her eyes traveled from the ceiling to my very flushed face. "Are you going mad? Look at what you chose to become. You bore children for a man with a wife!" Her Italian accent was more pungent than her German.

She wasted no time. I went to stand by the crib like a guard. "The children are asleep. Please lower your voice."

Slowly she walked to the crib, kept a little distance and looked over at the babies. "Look what you have done to these precious little bambinos. They don't deserve this kind of life, Atora."

"Mom, it happened, they are already here. Please allow me some grace."

She looked me up and down. "Grace? Look at you. Do you know you are royalty? Does he know who you are and what wealth you possess? Look at you."

I felt insecure and dirty. For sure I wasn't looking like myself. My hair was matted, my eyes covered in dark circles and I was losing weight rapidly.

"I wish you would not tear me down right now."

She didn't care. "I should. You embarrassed both sides of your families over a man that couldn't stay faithful to his wife. Knock you up and then go back home. This is not your life, Atora."

She has done her homework.

"It's a bad situation but I don't regret having my babies—"

"Princess, you isolated yourself to have these babies on your own like you don't have people that love you. Now you are hiding these kids from the father and us. What is wrong with you?"

I didn't want to break down but I couldn't help it. I knew my mother was right. My life wasn't ruined but it was altered by a very bad situation.

"I loved this man and he made me believe that he loved me. He got sick before I got the chance to tell him I was pregnant."
