"Suh who aguh pay dah bill yah?" I asked as she took the last bite of her lava cake.

"Surely not me, I don't have no money and me nuh fuck bruck pocket man."

"Me nah pay nuh bill fi nobody weh nah give me no front. Bout yuh sit down a nyam caviar. Yuh cyah swim Stacy, yuh know how fi ketch fish?"

She chuckled. "Garrick, pay the bill and bring me home before my son starts calling me nuh."

For most of the night all she talks about is how her son is this and that and he kept texting her too.

"Watch yah. Tell yuh son come pay this then."

"You know what, come to think about it. Make me order some food to take for the kids."

I started laughing. "Me nuh like yuh pickney dem. 'Bout order food. Come gah yuh yard. Yuh a nah make yuh pickney dem nyam me out. Yuh see how dem treated me since night?"

"Well bring me home then, cheap ass."

I called the waitress over and she told us that the bill was already covered. "Really?" I asked.

"Yes sir," she replied.

"Stacy, order some food fi hungry belly pickney dem."

"Garrick, stop. I don't need anything dear, thank you," she said to the waitress, she smiled at us before leaving the table.

"Push this inna yuh bag," I handed her two forks and two spoons.

"Garrick," she whispered while pushing them into her bags.

"Yuh yard full a pickney suh me know you can't find your forks dem," I said and she let out her famous market laugh that I loved.

"Yuh want this to?" I held up the salt and paper shakers.

"Come leave the people dem place," she pushed them into her bag and pulled me from the table. She was laughing so hard when we got to the car.

"Can I drive?" she asked.

"My car?"

"Yes, at least you would know this time because I drive it on a regular basis."

"Well, no. Guh inna the car." I opened the door and pushed her in , smiling as I headed to the driver's side.

"Are you taking me straight home?" she asked.

"Yuh nuh seh yuh nuh want your son call you?"

"Oh yeah."

"Yeah, cause me nuh wah inna no chattings with nobody's son."

"And I have two."

"What about your Turtle?" I asked.

"Aww I miss him," she said.

"You want to stop and see him?"

"Okay."

We pulled up to the house, the lights came on and security came out. "Mrs. Walker, it's been a while."

"Hi Gee, I'm here to see my Turtles."

Look at her making that very clear. Now Gee aguh roast me for sure when she leaves.

"Oh alright," he said as she gave him a hug.

"I love how you made changes to the house like a your own. Yuh did ask LJ and Leo's permission?"

"Yuh come fi see yuh pickney or your come to fass?" I pushed her inside the house and closed the door. I guided her to the table where I had the Turtle in a tank.
