Chapter 8 (Starting Fresh)

Alissa POV

As much as that had hurt I knew it was the right thing. I got up from my bed and took a really warm shower. It felt as if I was washing away all my worries, and as I came out I promised myself that I would start fresh with everyone. The boys and Alex had all taken care of me in the hospital when I needed them, so it was only right that I acted a little nicer towards them. I blow dried my hair leaving it in curls and did some very light make up. I wore dark blue jeans with a pink tank that had some ruffles on it and threw a black cardigan over it.

I walked downstairs to see everyone sitting in the living room watching T.V. They were all talking but as soon as they saw me they quieted down.

"Hi" I said smiling.

"Looks like you're feeling better" Alex replied.

"We were actually just going to watch a movie, want to join us?" Liam asked.

"Yeah that sounds great, but where's Zayn?" I asked looking around and not seeing him anywhere.

"He's in the kitchen making popcorn" Niall answered. I looked at how he had his arm around Alex, I raised an eyebrow at her that signaled we had to talk later.

For know though I had to sort things out with Zayn. I walked into the kitchen and saw Zayn with his back the other way making popcorn.

"Zayn" I blurted.

Zayn turned around almost immediately "Oh thank god you woke up, I was getting worried".

I smiled, it was good that he wasn't mad at me anymore. "Of course you were, I just wanted to say though that I'm sorry about what I said before it was uncalled for" I said apologizing.

"No you were right in a way, how about we just start over?" Zayn offered.

"Deal" I said giving him a hug.

This was the brother I missed.

I helped him then make the popcorn, once we were sure we made enough for everyone we carried them into the living room.

"What movie are we gonna watch?" I asked as I saw Louis placing a disc into the DVD player.

"Paranormal Activity 3" Harry answered holding up the cover of the movie.

Oh no I hated scary movies, although I didn't want to say anything, I just agreed because everyone seemed all for it and I didn't want to be the wimp. Alex signaled for me to sit next to her, so I sat on the the floor next to her and Harry. 

I leaned against the back of the couch, I really hate scary movies. The whole movie I was basically scared to death, I screamed at almost every part, making everyone laughed at me. It scared so much that every time something happened on the screen I would hid my head in Harry's shoulder and then say sorry after. Although he would just smile at me, and I must say he has one of the cutest smiles in the world with his dimples.

After the movie ended I got up right away "Ok, no more scary movies..... ever" I laughed.

We felt to lazy to make dinner tonight, so we just ordered pizza instead and decided to watch some more movies. Everyone let me pick the movie this time since, I leaned more towards the comedy side and picked 21 Jump Street. I was still feeling chills from paranormal activity though and was having a hard time paying attention to the movie. We kind of just kept watching movies to be honest.

At about 3am Zayn, Alex, Niall were already fast asleep. Liam and Louis were on Liam's laptop looking at twitter questions.

I got up and grabbed a glass water from the kitchen, I came back and saw that Harry was still awake. I sat back down next to him.

"I thought you were asleep" I said as I leaned back against the couch.

"I'm still holding up" Harry answered smiling.

We talked a while actually, he told me about London and I told him about how university was going and how different it was here. I yawned a couple of times.. I could slowly start to feel myself falling asleep, until I just drifted right into sleep.

I woke suddenly shaking, scary nightmare I thought. I knew watching that movie was a bad idea, I always get super scared after. I must have been leaning on Harry because he woke up too.

"You ok" he mumbled barely awake.

"Yeah, sorry just a bad dream" I said.

Harry wrapped his arm around me comforting me "Don't worry, it was just a movie".

I buried my head into his chest trying to fall back asleep, something felt right being with Harry for some reason. It's as if I could believe him and trust him. he somehow made be feel safe. I looked around everyone else were asleep too, it must be around 5am. I sighed and fell back asleep in the warmth of Harry's arms.
