Chapter 13 (Let's Keep it a Secert)

Alissa POV

My eyes slowly opened as I felt the sun shinning through the curtains. My head was pounding from all the drinks I had last night, I groaned in pain. When my eyes were fully opened and only when they were adjusted to the setting did I see that I was inches away from Harry's face. Both his arms were tightly wrapped around my waist. I looked down and saw that Harry and I were only in our undergarments. It look me a second to process this everything through my hungover brain....

No, no, no I thought I was drunk and didn't know what I was doing. But how could I still do this to Zayn, his best friend? What kind of sister was I? I slept with my brothers best friend... How could have all this have happened?

I looked over to Harry who was still sound asleep, the answer was right there. He was perfect, everything about him, how couldn't I have fallen for that eventually.I slowly tried getting out his arms, although all that did was make him wake up. A smile appeared on his face, but as soon as his eyes opened I could tell he was having the same thought as me because as soon as he saw me he put everything together and let go of me and sat up right away. He put his hands in face, and I knew at that moment he was hating himself as much as I was hating myself.

"I'm so sorry" Harry said looking at me I could see the real pain in his eyes.

"Don't be, we were both drunk, it's not your fault anymore than it is mine" I said sitting up and leaning against the backboard of the bed.

"What if someone saw us..." Harry replied looking at me.

"Oh trust me, that's what I'm worried about. It may have been dark last night, but it's not hard to notice Zayn's best friend and sister in a crowd" I answered looking down at my hands.

Harry sighed and got up, slipping on a pair of shorts, he walked towards the window and just stared out of it. "I'm a terrible friend right? I really truly am sorry Alissa, I hope we can still be friends...".

I didn't say anything, I just got up and walked up to him. He turned and looked me into the eyes, I couldn't hold it in anymore. I gave him a hug "I don't want to be just friends Harry" I said into his chest, I could feel tears starting form. "Harry, I've always liked you..." I blurted.

Harry pulled out of my embrace and placed a hand on my cheek "Alissa, I've liked you since the day I saw you in the airport, but how can I do this to your brother, my best friend?"

"He doesn't have to know...." I mumbled.

Harry POV

All of this felt so wrong but right at the same time. I really did love Alissa and I did want to be with her since the day I met her at the airport, she was so carefree and her beauty showed on inside as well as on the outside. Everything that happened last night was not because we were drunk and desperate, we were drunk, but that just helped us do something we had been holding in. But at the same time the thought of me sleeping with Zayn's sister that scared me. He was my best friend, almost like a brother to me.

"He doesn't have to know..." Alissa mumbled.

I looked into her beautiful eyes, I knew at that moment that this was worth fighting for. "I'm willing to try" I said intertwining my fingers with her.

Alissa leaned her head into my chest and we just stood there, absorbing what had just happened. I had just gone through with one of the best and worst ideas of my life. I finally told the girl who I loved how I felt about her, and she feels the same. The worst, this girls name is Alissa.. Malik, my best friends sister, my best friend who loves his sister so much and would protect her from anyone, including his best friend.

"Maybe we should head down for breakfast, before people starting coming up looking for us" Alissa said as she looked up at me.

"Yeah, you should probably get changed first" I said looking at her, she was still in her bra and underwear.

I could see how things unfolded the way the did yesterday, she had one of the most fit bodies I had ever seen. Alissa blushed when she realized she was still in her undergarments.

"Here, take one of my shirts and run to your room and get changed" I said going into my closet and looking for a shirt for her to wear.

"Do you think anyone downstairs knows?" She said as I came back out with a black shirt.

"For both of our sakes let hope not" was all I could say.

I kissed Alissa quickly before she put on the shirt and slowly opened my bedroom door and left.

Alissa POV

I slowly crept down the hallway, I knew how it felt to do the walk of shame now.. I took a peek downstairs and it looked like almost everyone was downstairs. I couldn't see them all but by the sound of it most of them seemed present downstairs. As I turned around, I bumped into someone, I looked up and saw it was Liam.

"I was just..." I started say, thinking of reasons why I would be standing here in just Harry's shirt and holding my clothes from last night in my hands.

"Save it, I know what happened last night, but because you and Harry are my best friends, and so is Zayn.. I covered for you because I don't want to see anyone getting hurt" Liam said interrupting me.

I was speechless "How did you see us, did anyone else see?" Was all I could say.

"Well first I was the only sober person there, so I'm sure I was the only one who noticed, So that leads into how I saw you guys stumbling drunk upstairs hand in hand" Liam said looking at me.

"Thanks Liam, your a great friend" I said giving him a hug.

"Just remember, I'm Zayns friend as well and I can't bear to keep lying to him, it will only hurt him more" was all Liam said before he walked downstairs to join everyone else.
