Chapter 24 (Jealousy)

Harry POV

The instructors helped us out a little bit before they let us try figuring things out on our own. They told us to stay here till we got the hang of things and they would come around every now or so to see how we were doing.

I wasn't really trying to be entirely honest, I was too distracted by Alissa and Drew. Who was this Drew person anyways? I looked over to see him helping Alissa on to her board, constantly touching her for no reason.  But wait, I shouldn't care.. we weren't dating anymore, forget dating, we aren't even friends anymore. She had clearly moved on in her life, so why should I get jealous?

Although, I still couldn't stand to see them anymore, so I decided to head back to the beach and join Noemi and Zayn. Zayn didn't like the water because he didn't know how to swim, so he was just hanging out with Noemi on the beach.

Alissa POV

"I cannot do this!" I screamed as I tried to stand up on the board. I was holding Drew's hands really tightly just to balance.

"Yes you can, just try to be more steady." Drew laughed holding my hands as I kept shaking.

"Do you find this funny?" I said letting go of his hands right away, which resulted in me falling back into the water.

Drew laughed again as I surfaced back onto the water, he sat down on his board "Yeah this is kind of funny."

"Shut up." I pouted as I crossed my arms.

"Maybe we should hang out and try something that maybe you are better at." He said more seriously as he looked at me.

I was a little hesitant at first, it sounded like he was asking me out on a date.. I don't know if I'm ready for that.

He saw my tentativeness and suggested "What about a morning coffee tomorrow?"

"I would love to but I normally go for a run in the morning." I said turning down the offer.

Instead of looking disappointed Drew actually flashed me a smile "Great, I go for runs as well, we can go together." He offered with a wink.

I looked into his eyes "Sure, why not." I answered.

Wait what? Did I just agree, no I didn't mean that but it was too late "Great I can't wait!" Drew responded.

I smiled, oh well whatever, what's the harm about one jog? Plus Drew really did seem like a nice guy.

"I think we should head back to the beach, everyone seems to be wrapping it up." I replied as I looked at other's slowly heading back to the beach.

We walked back to the beach and placed the surfboards in the shack and I said goodbye to Drew, he gave me his number and I also gave him my address for tomorrow. I smiled as I made my way back to everyone else.

"Ooh what was that?" Alex nudged as we headed back to the cars.

"What you mean?" I said as I walked with her.

"Alissa, don't think I didn't notice. You and Drew were flirting the whole time!" Alex said looking at me with a raised eyebrow.

"Alex, I just met him okay." I said before I got into the car.

"We will talk later." Alex replied with a wink as she headed to the other car.

I shook my head as I got into the car with Noemi, Zayn, and Harry again. We were going to head back to the house, rest up and then go for dinner later tonight at 5. I felt my phone vibrate, I reached into my back and smiled as I saw a text from Drew.
