Wuxian stood at the reception hall, one arm protectively around Yibo's shoulder.
Wangji, Yuan, and Mrs. Kim were already waiting nearby.
"Mrs. Kim," Wuxian said seriously, "take both my sons home. Right now."
Wangji frowned. "And why exactly are we not going home?"
Before Wuxian could answer, Yibo raised an eyebrow and said sweetly,
"Because it's your wedding night, deda. Deda! I definitely don't want to hear any of your... 'activities' echoing through the apartment. We're still single, remember? Spare us the trauma."
There was a sharp, scandalized silence.
Wangji's ears turned bright red. Mrs. Kim choked on her drink. Yanli looked like she might faint from laughter.
Wangji hissed through gritted teeth, "Shut up, you shameless brat!"
Yibo puffed out his cheeks indignantly.
"I just said the truth!"
Wuxian chuckled, siding with his son.
"Why are you scolding bobo? He didn't say anything wrong. It's been years since we've had a night together, and honestly, I don't know how much longer I can control myself. I also don't want our sons to hear anything they shouldn't. That's why I've decided-" he grinned smugly, "-I'm taking you to my mansion tonight. No noise, no disturbance, just peace... and us."
Yibo's mouth dropped open.
"Wow, papa. You're sneaky! You're literally taking your husband to make sure your romantic moment goes undisturbed."
"Of course!" Wuxian said proudly.
"Shameless!" Wangji snapped, his voice rising a pitch higher than usual. "Both of you! SHUT Up ! Bloodline of the shameless! "
Wuxian and Yibo both pouted in perfect synchronization.
Finally, the time came for the couple to leave.
Wuxian and Wangji got into the car together, ready to head toward Wei Mansion.
Before stepping in, Wangji discreetly slipped a small parcel from his previous car into his own bag - a secret gift, hidden carefully.
Meanwhile, Wuxian, being the ever-paranoid father, had already ordered Yibo and Yuan to leave first - making absolutely sure Sean didn't get another chance to "flirt" with his son while he was gone.
Just before the car drove off, Wuxian turned back to look at everyone waving them goodbye.
His gaze found Sean in the crowd. Their eyes met.
Wuxian smirked - the victorious kind of smirk that said, "I win this round."
Sean's hand clenched into a fist. His smile didn't reach his eyes.
"Villain of my life", he thought darkly.
And as the car drove away, the night air filled with laughter, embarrassment, and the soft echo of Wei Wuxian's triumph.
Wei Mansion -
The car stopped in front of Wei Mansion, lights glowing softly across the grand entrance.
Before anyone could open the door for him, Wuxian stepped out quickly, excitement practically sparking in his eyes. He circled around the car, opened the other door, and without a word - swept Wangji right up into his arms.
But just as Wuxian was about to carry him inside, Wangji's calm voice broke the moment. "Wei Ying... my bag. It's still in the car."
Wuxian paused mid-step, brows furrowing. "Bag? What bag?"
Wangji's ears flushed slightly pink.
Wangji said ,"My clothes bag."
Wuxian's lips curved into a slow grin.
Wuxian said " But we won't need any clothes tonight. Why bring unnecessary things?"
