Sean Xiao sat silently, emotionless, in a cold metal chair. In front of him, a woman was tied tightly—hands and feet bound, blindfolded—crying and begging desperately for mercy. The room was dim, only a harsh hanging light casting shadows around Sean, keeping most of his face hidden in darkness.

The woman trembled, voice shaky, "W-Who are you? Why have you brought me here? Let me go! Please—I didn’t do anything!"

No response.

Then, Sean leaned slightly forward, and in that movement, his face shifted into the light. Recognition struck her like a slap.

Her eyes widened.
"Sean… Sean Xiao Zhan!! Is this some kind of sick joke?! Why am I here?!"

Sean didn’t reply. Instead, he rose slowly, his presence chilling. He walked around her in a slow circle, his gaze razor sharp—studying her like prey. The silent intensity in his eyes was terrifying.

Without warning, he stepped forward and wrapped his hand around her throat, squeezing suddenly.

"You dared…" his voice was dangerously calm, "…to lay a hand on what’s mine. On my Yibo. You dared to harm my life."

He spat the name with such deep, raw possessiveness and fury that the woman flinched violently.

"A-Auntie Lusi," he added, coldly, venom lacing each syllable.

Yes—this woman was Lusi.

Panicking, Lusi struggled to speak as his grip crushed her voice. "Y-Yibo? W-what is he to you? W-Why—why would you care—?"

Sean released her abruptly. She gasped loudly, coughing, choking on air.

Sean spoke again, voice icy:
"Sean Xiao Zhan don'ts like giving expressions to anyone and does not show mercy. Those who attempt to go against me are destroyed. And you… you dared to target my Yibo. Did you really think you’d survive?"

Lusi broke down in tears, trembling uncontrollably. "I-I was wrong! Please—forgive me! It was a mistake! I won’t do it again—Sean, please—please!!"

Sean silently sat back in his chair.

He raised a hand just slightly—an elegant, deadly signal.

One of his bodyguards immediately stepped forward, looping a thin rope around Lusi’s neck.

"No… No, please—Sean! SEAN!! I beg you—!"

The rope tightened.
She thrashed wildly, desperately clawing at the noose, gasping for breath.
Sean watched… with calm, emotionless eyes.

As her movements slowed… slowed… then stopped completely… silence swallowed the room.

Lusi was dead.

Sean stood up and approached her lifeless body.

"You were once my aunt… ex-aunt now," he said softly. "For old time’s sake, I gave you an easy death. I’m not that cruel."

A faint, twisted smile curved his lips—small, but terrifying.

He turned to the guards.
"Make the body disappear. Somewhere… no one will ever find her."

"Yes, sir," the guards replied, giving a salute.

A guard approached with a bottle of water. Sean extended his hand gracefully, allowing him to pour it over Sean’s hands. Another guard offered a towel, and Sean carefully wiped his fingers as though removing filth.

Only then, once his hands were clean, did he walk out of the dark basement, step by step, back toward his car.

He left the silent black apartment behind him… as if nothing had happened..
