Wang apartment

Yibo and Sean kissed—slow at first, then deeper. But the moment Yibo’s lungs burned for air, he began to squirm, desperately pushing at Sean’s chest. Sean only released him after brushing his teeth lightly against Yibo’s lower lip, giving a teasing bite before finally pulling back.

Yibo gasped sharply, breathing fast—shoulders rising and falling like he’d just run a race.

Sean slid an arm around his waist again, drawing him close enough to feel his warmth. Leaning close to Yibo’s ear, he whispered, voice low and sinful, "Breakfast was absolutely delicious."

His gaze dropped to Yibo’s lips—slowly, deliberately licking his own as if savoring the memory. "But let’s talk about last night, shall we? You broke my rule… my little raging lion. Don’t you think you deserve punishment?"

Yibo froze.

Last night flashed in his mind like lightning—his eyes snapped wide, panic clawing up his chest. His palms began to sweat, a nervous drop sliding down his neck.

Sean noticed every reaction—the wide eyes, the trembling breath, the flustered silence. He chuckled softly, amused. Letting him go, he stepped back with an annoyingly charming smirk. "Goodbye, sweetheart."

Yibo could only glare, teeth grinding in sheer fury as Sean confidently walked away.

He dropped into a seat at the dining table, arms crossed. "Sean Xiao Zhan, you sneaky bastard," he muttered under his breath. "You already charmed my dada over to your side, didn’t you? Now he’s practically given you full freedom over me! I swear, am I even my deda’s real son or did he swap me at birth?!"

He slammed his forehead onto the table dramatically.

"I am Wang Yibo. I will never marry you. Never. Especially not after all this!"

But beneath the stubborn declaration, worry crept in. "What am I gonna do now? Dada actually gave him permission—permission to do whatever he wants with me?!"

Yibo groaned in despair.

Then suddenly—a spark. Xuan.

His eyes lit up. "Right. Xuan will help me!"

He fumbled his phone out with lightning speed, dialing. The ringtone buzzed once… twice… three times…

Then finally, someone picked up.

Hotel bar — afternoon time

The bar hummed with low conversation and clinking glass. Yibo sat hunched at the counter, taking drink after drink like it would wash the world away. Across from him, Xuan watched with a tight expression—not because he felt sorry at the spectacle, but because he was afraid. If Yibo got drunk, there would be no stopping him; neither Mr. Wang nor anyone else could rein him in.

Xuan reached across and took the glass away. "Enough," he said flatly. "Drinking won’t solve this. Put the bottle down and think. We need a plan to stop that marriage."

Yibo pushed his palm against his forehead, trying to look tragic yet failing to hide the glint of mischief in his eyes. "Sean Xiao already charmed Dada into saying yes," he said, voice wobbling with fake tears. "Dada’s agreed. I don’t think anyone can stop it now."

Xuan sighed. He’d heard the act before. "Okay, then do this," he said. "Go to the Xiao family and make yourself unbearable. Make them dislike you. If the family doesn’t approve of you, the marriage won’t happen."
