Start...........
The soft golden light of the Thailand morning spilled through the sheer curtains of the hotel room. On the large white bed, Wangji slowly blinked awake — eyes half-open, lashes fluttering as he tried to adjust to the brightness.
His head throbbed. Heavy. Foggy.
He pushed himself up, pressing a hand to his temple.
Where…?
Then it hit him.
The hotel, The party, The drink Wuxian forced him to " just try once."
And after that… nothing. His memory was blank.
He sighed, frustrated, but didn’t dwell on it. Instead he dragged himself to the bathroom, turned on the shower, and stepped under the cold stream of water.
The moment the icy water hit his skin—
FLASH.
Him in the car. Saying nonsense.Calling the air " helicopter." Searching for " his baby."
And…
And Wuxian kissing him to shut him up.
Another FLASH.
Wuxian sitting in his lap.
Calling himself “your baby” with that ridiculous grin.
Wangji froze under the running water, eyes widening in horror.
" Oh no…" he whispered.
Quickly, he finished his shower, wrapped a towel around his waist, and stormed out of the bathroom.
" WEI WUXIAN!!!" he shouted.
Right then, the door to the adjoining room opened.
Wuxian walked in holding two mugs of steaming coffee.
" Oh! You’re awake, Lanzhan!" he said cheerfully. " How are you feeling? Dizzy? Head hurt?"
Wangji pointed at him like an angry judge.
" What did you do to me last night?! Did you forget I can get pregnant? How could you— how could you do anything without protection?!"
Wuxian’s smile faded instantly.
The warmth on his face disappeared.
He looked almost guilty… almost serious.
" Lanzhan," he said quietly, " you were really, really drunk last night. I was trying to handle you… and things just turned… romantic. I lost control for a moment."
He swallowed hard, eyes dropping.
"But I know you don’t want another baby. Neither do you, nor Yibo. I would never force something like that on you."
He slipped a hand into his pocket and pulled out a small packet — a tablet.
He placed it gently on the bedside table.
" Take this. I don’t want any misunderstanding between us," he murmured.
Then he placed the coffee beside it.
"This will help your headache," he added softly.
Without another word, head slightly lowered, he turned and walked out of the room.
Wangji stood frozen, towel clutched around him, eyes flicking between the tablet in his hand…
and the doorway where Wuxian had just disappeared. His chest tightened.
IN CHAINA
Early in the morning, Yibo was already packing his luggage.
He stood in front of the mirror, checked his hair, adjusted his collar—perfect, as always.
With a small sigh, he dragged his suitcase out of the room and walked downstairs.
At the dining table, Yanli, Jin Ling, Zixuan, and Xiao Zhan were quietly having breakfast.
The moment they saw Yibo with luggage, all eyes turned to him.
