Chapter 3: The Opportunity

NORMAL POV

"You're all annoying! Now leave me alone!" Liz says loudly to her brothers downstairs as she closes the door to her bedroom door. "So what's up." She says turning to her best friend Briana.

"Not much how about you." Briana says still weirded out by Liz screaming at her brothers. "Anyways how was Texas?" She asks her friend as Liz smiles.

"It was great. It was sure the right way to end my first national headlining tour. All the fans had such a high energy. It was everything I could ever imagine." Liz says smiling as Briana laughs.

"I'm glad you had a good time and I'm so sorry that I couldn't be there but I just know that you did amazing." Briana says as Liz nods.

"I was pretty sad you weren't there either but don't worry you're presence was felt." Liz says causing Briana to laugh. "Anyways how was your week?" She asks politely.

"Well it sure didn't amount to the week you had but everything was great. Having to deal with final test, final projects, Liz you are so lucky you don't have to go to a regular school." Briana says as Liz shrugs.

"No I'm not. Regular schools seem like so much fun. Hanging out with people you're own age, hanging out in the hallways during passing period, boys." Liz says as Briana shakes her head.

"You've been watching too many shows that show the illusion of a real school. It's definitely not like High School Musical." Briana says as Liz nods. "So how'd it go?" She asks excitedly.

"How'd what go?" Liz asks as Briana nods her head. "Oh my god! You knew! How could you not tell me this was going to happen?" Liz asks as Briana shrugs.

"Well first of all your dad told me not to tell you and to be honest I was pretty scared by him. Who knows what he could have done to me if I told." Briana says as Liz shakes her head.

"I felt bombarded when he just threw it on me. It wasn't easy to tell but luckily everyone was excited. Dani and Demi were talking all night about how we're going to have so much fun. It was great." Liz says as Briana nods.

"Glad you're going to have fun all summer." Briana says as Liz shakes her head.

"You know you can tag along." Liz says as Briana sighs.

"And what am I going to tell my parents? Hey mom and dad my superstar best friend and her superstar family want me to tag along on a world tour. No big deal." Briana says as Liz laughs. "Besides I signed up for a cool summer camp so we both have fun things to do." She adds.

"Briana you may envy my life but I envy yours. You get to experience going to a real school and going to summer camp I can't do any of those things." Liz says as Briana nods.

"Well you can but it would be all over TMZ and Entertainment Tonight." Briana says as Liz slightly chuckles. "But look at you, you live the dream. World tours and starring in TV shows and movies but that is how our relationship works." She adds.

"You give me a taste of the real life and I give you the taste of a celebrity life. You take me to school football games and I take you to movie sets." Liz says as Briana nods agreeing.

"Yeah." Briana says sighing causing Liz to laugh. "I'm just super glad we met at that playground before you became multi platinum recording artist, youngest person to win an Oscar, and Disney star Liz Jonas." She says as Liz shakes her head.

"Thanks for that long title. I don't deserve it." Liz says sarcastically as Briana laughs before they hear a knock on the door. "Read the sign!" Liz yells referring to the sign she had outside her door saying "brothers stay away, parents welcome"
