Chapter 11: The Premiere

NORMAL POV

"Liz! Liz! Liz over here!" Photographers yell as Liz stands posing on the red carpet of the Camp Rock 2 premiere.

"Okay I need to blink." Liz says as she walks off and meets with her mom, Briana and Frankie.

"You know you can blink right. This isn't a staring contest." Her mom says as Liz begins to laugh.

"Yes I know that but sometimes I feel like there's going to be pictures of me in the midst of blinking." Liz says laughing.

"Well I'm going to go make sure everythings in place. Frankie take care of your sister." Denise says before walking away.

"You hear that Frankie has to take care of his sister." Frankie says as Liz glares at him and pinches his shoulder. "Stop it." He says making Liz laugh and they begin to playfully hit each other.

"Would you two stop it. There might be pictures of you two fighting all over the Internet tomorrow morning." Briana says as the two siblings laugh.

"Oh c'mon Briana have a little fun." Frankie says tickling her a little bit.

"Wow I'm surprised Joe didn't bring his new girlfriend." Liz says breaking the fun they were having.

"Are you mad at him?" Briana asks confused as Liz rolls her eyes as she looks at her brother smiling for the cameras.

"Yes! And you want to know why? He choose Ashley's side and not mine. Why can't he understand that Ashley is trying to make me look like a bad person." Liz says as she hits Frankie giving her a chance to let her frustration out.

"Okay tell me your problems but could you cool it off on hitting Frankie." Briana says as Liz sighs.

"Why couldn't my dreams I had in my head of the perfect summer play out. Instead I have to deal with this." Liz says as Briana nods.

"Did you do something to Ashley that made Joe choose her over you?" Briana asks as Liz glares at Frankie who started laughing.

"I accidentally shoved a cake in her face." Liz admits as Briana looks at her surprised.

"What?!" Briana says as a couple of people turn around and look at them while Liz shushes her.

"It was an accident but Joe doesn't believe it." Liz says as Briana nods.

"If I was Joe I wouldn't believe it either." Briana as Liz looks at her shocked. "C'mon think about it. He broke up with your best friend and now you're out to get his new girlfriend." She adds as Frankie nods.

"She makes a really good point." Frankie says as Liz gives him a glare.

"Who's side are you on?" Liz says as Frankie and Briana laugh together.

"Frankie! Liz!" They hear their mom say as the entire family prepares to take a picture together.

LIZ'S POV

Most awkward moment? Um...RIGHT NOW! Watching Joe and Demi take pictures together acting like nothing was wrong and that they were still on good terms was cringe worthy. They were going to give each other deathly stares the minute this was over.

"Alright let's start heading in." My dad says releaving everyone of the awkward tension.

"Thank god for dad, huh?" Frankie whispers over to me as I sigh.

"You have no idea." I say to him as he laughs.

Sitting in a crowded theater made me so excited! Finally after months people were going to see this movie that we all worked hard on. I always felt sort of emotional during movie premieres.

I thought seeing this movie was going to relieve everyone from the awkward tension that Joe and Demi have but I was wrong. I forgot that they both had romantic scenes together. Every time they appeared on scene I saw from the corner of my eye that Joe would adjust himself in his seat.

"Can Joe be anymore discreet?" Nick says sarcastically as my brothers and I look at him and exchange looks.

"Must be his chair." Kevin jokes causing us to laugh.

"Take a look at Demi." I hear Dani whisper over to Kevin as I see Demi sitting a couple seats away from us. She wasn't looking screen but rather playing with the ends of her dress.

This movie premiere wasn't anything I expected it to be.

NORMAL POV

"C'mon Liz lighten up. This is a celebration we're suppose to be happy." Frankie says to his sister over the loud music as she shakes her head.

"Nothing is like it's suppose to be." Liz says to him as he shrugs his shoulders.

"Well things change over time and remember things happen for a reason." He says as Liz looks over at her 3 older brothers and Demi performing the songs from their movie.

"Look on the bright side Joe and Demi are proving that they are fantastic actors." Liz says referring to the way that they were acting friendly with each other.

"Hey guys." They hear someone say as both turn and see Ashley standing there. "Heard the premiere went well." She adds as the siblings exchange looks.

"Joe's going to be on stage for the next 10 minutes or so." Liz says as Ashley smiles at her.

"Great. That means I'll spend the next 10 minutes with you two." She says as she sets her bag down and sits next to them.

"Does cake face like me or something?" Liz whisper over to Frankie as he looks over at Ashley who's on her phone. "I'm going to hang out with Alyson and Dani." She says standing up and leaving.

"Good riddance." Frankie hears Ashley say as he pretends to not hear anything.

Elsewhere Liz was looking at her best friend and brother perform and wondering what was to come in these next few months.

"Technically this is one of our stops in the tour so let's have some fun." Alyson says as she and Dani dance around Liz.

"Okay." Liz says laughing. "I don't know how you two can dance to this music. It's not really dancing music." She says as they continue to dance.

"I know but soon they will be done with their set and the DJ will start spinning some tunes." Alyson says dancing around.

"So c'mon Liz let's dance." Dani says as Liz smiles and gives in.

This day might have been filled with awkward tension but in the back of Liz's mind she knew it was all going to get better.
