Chapter 15: Doctor Liz

LIZ'S POV

I've done a total of 3 shows and I still haven't gotten used to the crazy routine. My mom tries to make the transition go smoothly but that isn't much help.

I normally don't complain since this life is so hard to accomplish but I'm getting hurt. My legs all bruised due to the fact that I climb over all the backstage equipment to make sure I get on stage on time to be with the other dancers.

"Looks like having fame is causing you pain." Ashley says coming into the bathroom where I was putting an ice pack over my bruised legs.

"Funny. Is that why Joe likes you." I say sarcastically as she leans on the wall and laughs.

"Well that's one but there's many more qualities that he likes." She says as I look up at her with a disgusting look on my face.

"There could be really tough debates on that." I say as Ashley shakes her head.

"You're best friend isn't here anymore so I would really be careful of what you say to me." She says to me as I look at her confused.

"What does Demi have to do with anything?" I ask her as she smirks.

"I wanted her away from Joe and I made that happen. I didn't have to do anything so that's the great part and you're in my way too so who knows what I can do to you." She says as I back away from her.

"I don't care about what you do anymore. Joe and I haven't talked in a while so you have nothing to worry about." I say to her as she shrugs her shoulder.

"You're right but he isn't at his best since his little sister isn't talking to him." She says as I begin to walk out of the bathroom.

"One thing our parents taught us was that family is important. Joe would never choose me over you." I say to her before leaving. Obviously that was a lie since he was choosing Ashley over me but I only said that because I didn't want her to seem like had won.

"Hey you okay." Alyson says as once we see each other.

"Yeah I'm fine. Isn't there anything I can help with?" I say as she looks around.

At the moment we were helping the Red Cross with their annual blood drive. Everyone on tour was providing a helping hand and of course to be the celebrity appearance.

"We're done but as soon as everyone gets here you give them there prizes." Alyson says as I nod.

"I would not be able to be a doctor. I saw blood and I nearly passed out." Dani says as we laugh at her. "Are you donating blood?" She asks Alyson as she laughs

"No, because we're on the same the sight of blood makes me want to pass out." Alyson says as Dani laughs.

"Do you think I can donate?" I ask as Dani shrugs her shoulders.

"I don't know I think you have to be a certain age." Dani says as I nod. "You're not seriously going to do it, are you?" She asks me as I shrug my shoulders.

"I'm just going to look at the requirements." I say walking off. "Hey mom do you think I can donate blood." I say as she gives me a look.

"Liz I doubt you can. You have to be 17." She says as I nod.

"I understand but can I at least see how they do it. C'mon maybe someday I can be a doctor." I say as my mom laughs.

"Fine. Plus you're brothers are about to do it so you can watch them." She says as I smile.

"Boys! Time to give you're blood and I'll do the honors of poking a needle through your skin." I say as my brothers look at me scared. "I'm kidding." I say as they let out a sigh.

NORMAL POV

"Whoa that's a lot of blood. The vampires will certainly love this." Liz says teasing Kevin as the doctor takes the needle out.

"I would say something but I'm feeling a little lightheaded." Kevin says making Liz laugh.

"Everyone always feels lightheaded but don't worry once you eat something it will go away." The doctor says as Kevin nods.

"Thanks for the blood." Liz says as Kevin walks away. "I would make a fine doctor wouldn't I?" She says to the doctor making him laugh.

"The best." He responds making Liz laugh.

"So what do you do with the blood now? Sell it on Ebay? Amazon?" Liz says playfully making the doctor laugh again.

"That would sure give me enough money to buy me a mansion but no. We put it in the container here and take it back to the patients who most need it." The doctor says as Liz nods.

"Cool." Liz says as the doctor nods. "So what type of blood are my brothers? O positive?" She says as the doctor shakes his head.

"Nope they're B positive." The doctor says as Liz looks at him surprised.

LIZ'S POV

"Here you go." I say to our last donor of the day as I give them their complementary bag.

"Looks like we get to have the remaining bags." Alyson says rummaging through the bags and taking out the granola bar.

"Do you think I could some blood. I mean you're suppose to be 17 but with a parents permission I guess they could make an exception." I say as Alyson shrugs.

"Maybe. You never know unless you try." She says as I walk up to my parents. "Hey guys." I say to them as they shake their heads.

"You want something don't you?" My dad says as I'm about to say yes but I decide to change my answer.

"Hear me out. Can I go in there and see what blood type I am. I learned this in school last year and I'm extremely interested." I say to them as they exchange looks.

"Fine but know that we said yes because you involved school into the mix." My mom says as I walk away and on the blood donation van.

"That was so good. The audience was amazing." Alyson says as we all give each other high fives. "How are your bruises." She whispers to me as we walk to our dressing room.

"Well I have collected one more today. I should really tell someone to put some sort of light around there." I say to her as she laughs.

"Liz!" I hear Frankie yell my name as we're about to enter our dressing room.

"What's up?" I ask him as he walks up to me.

"Our parents want to see you. They said it couldn't wait." He says to me as Alyson looks at me confused.

"Alright I guess I have to go." I say as I walk off.
