LIZ'S POV

I lock the door behind me and grab the box I put under my bed earlier. The envelopes all had the same writing, Adriana's writing. I grab a few and begin reading through them.

Dear Liz,

I'm sorry for approaching you like that but when my family told me about you being my daughter all I wanted to do was meet you. Write back soon and tell me when it's best to meet you.

I never actually noticed how short the first letter was. It was only two sentences but it was those two sentences would change my perspective in so many ways.

Dear Liz,

I've decided to stay in Los Angeles to be close to you. That way when your parents approve of us seeing each other I'll be close by. I've made arrangements with some old friends that way I can have a place to spend the night.

It's unbelievable how short how these are and they were mainly just short responses to some questions I asked before. Now that I look back at the letters I could sense that she didn't want to have a relationship with me.

Dear Liz,

I realize that the only thing keeping us apart is because of my financial situation. Since I have no permanent home and no stable job I don't appear worthy. Unfortunately in this economy I can't find a job. Hopefully one day I'll gather enough money to appear worthy in your parents eyes but who know maybe that will be a long time from now.

In the next letter I sent her I offered to give her as much money as she needed which was a stupid move since she has obviously used it for something else. I should have listened to my parents when they told me Adriana was bad news but I was so mesmerized in the idea of meeting my birth mother.

Furious with myself I rip all the letters Adriana sent me and rip them all up. She was only interested in my money and I wouldn't give it to her anymore.

I'm content with knowing who my biological family was and even though our relationship, at the moment, is a little strange I know that we'll get to good place. I done with finding out more of Adriana, I know enough. Hopefully by ripping apart these letter I'll hear the last of her.

NORMAL POV

"Liz, welcome it's so great to have you back. It's been such a long time and I'm so excited to hear your new song." The radio host says to Liz as he stands up to greet her.

"It's so great to be back and I'm super excited to have the fans listen to the new song it's something I've been working hard on." Liz says to him as he nods and smiles.

"Well great take a seat. This interview is going to go by fast. I'll introduce you, do a little banter, go to the fan questions and you'll be on your way." He says as Liz nods.

"Great sounds...easy." Liz says putting on her headphones as the music begins to fade.

"Hello and welcome back! We have the one and only Liz Jonas in studio! How are you?" He asks Liz as she smiles proudly.

"I'm great and I've got to be honest a little bit anxious." Liz says as he responds with a laugh.

"Well don't worry we'll get to the new song soon. But first I've got to ask how have you managed to stay away from all the paparazzi madness for so long. I mean we never saw one picture of you until recently." He asks as Liz tries to stay professional. From that moment she could sense that the interview wasn't going to go well.

"I've managed to stay in very secluded areas." I say as he nods.

"Did you hear that celebrities if you want to get away for a while go to secluded areas." He says as Liz tries to keep a smile on her face. "Alright let's get to the fan questions." He adds looking into his laptop.

"Yes, please." Liz says quietly to herself.

"This one comes from Julia, she asks what can we expect in this upcoming album?" He reads causing Liz to smile. Finally someone was asking about her music.

"Well Julia, in this album I've decided to change my sound a bit. It's not a drastic change but it is different from the last album and I'm very excited for people to hear it." Liz says as she continues to smile.

"I'm guessing your brothers kind of helped you find that new sound. They're going on hiatus so they time to help you." The radio host says as Liz's smile drops.

"They do have time to help me." Liz answers as he ignores her.

"Next question, ooh here's a good one! Quinn asks if the recent events in your life have inspired some of the songs on the album." He says as Liz takes a deep breath.

"As a musician and a songwriter you're always inspired by events surrounding your life like news and the people you meet and see everyday." Liz responds as the host looks at her confused.

"So, yes. By the way here's something I want to know, what are you going to do with two sets of parents like do you have to choose who you want to stay with and is it true that your biological parents want to take you away from all the fame you have." He asks as Liz stays quiet.

"I came here to talk about my music so can we stay on that topic please." I say to the him as he nods and looks at the laptop.

"Actually most of these questions have to do with...not music." He says as I sigh.

"Alright well, then I guess this is over. Enjoy my music everybody." Liz says before taking off her headphones and leaving the room.
