We were about half an hour left into the movie when I noticed Bianca. She was checking every bowl on the table. I let her be and continued watching the movie. I was about to laugh at something that Mila Kunis just said but was interrupted by Bianca's finger poking my side. I slightly glared at her for interrupting my happy moment. She laughed at me.

"What?" I asked. She smiled and wrapped her arms around my neck.

"Bestieeeee. Diba mahal mo naman ako?"

"Hindi." She frowned at me and playfully slapped my arm. I laughed. "Di na mabiro. Oh bakit ba?"

She grabbed an empty bowl from the table and held it between us. "Wala ng pagkain, bestie. Luto ka pa."

"Eeeeeh. Ikaw na! Nanonood pa 'ko e. Alam mo naman kung saan nakalagay yung pagkain e."

"Ikaw na! Masarap ka magluto oh." She took a handful of fries from Alden's bowl and shoved it in my mouth. "See? Hahaha!"

I almost choked at the amount. "Ewan ko sa'yo. Baliw 'to!" I slapped her arm and we laughed.

"Pero seryoso, alam mo namang dalawa lang kayo ng nanay ko na pinagkakatiwalaan ko sa cooking." She looked at me with puppy dog eyes.

"Hey! No fair! Don't look at me like that." I looked back at the tv.

I did my very best to resist. Puuuuuuuhhh-leeeeeeeeease!"

Oh heck. She's my best friend. Her puppy dog eyes are my kryptonite.

I rolled my eyes and let out a sigh. "Fine! I hate you."

"Ha! I love you too! You know you can't resist my cuteness!" she cheered.

"EWWWWW!" I teased. We both laughed.

I stood up and was about to walk towards the kitchen when someone stopped me by holding my wrist. I turned around and saw that it was Glaiza. I looked at her in confusion.

"Tayo mo 'ko. Tulungan na kita." she smiled sweetly as she stretched out her arms at me like a kid. Aww, how cute. Sa pag-ngiti nya parang nawala na lahat ng awkwardness ng nangyari kanina.

I shook my head jokingly and she pouted. Her actions made me giggle. I grabbed her hands and pulled her up.

Bianca stopped me and grabbed the bowl I was holding and replaced it with the largest one. "Ayan. Para madami. Thank youuuuu!"

That's my bestfriend for you.

We headed to the kitchen and I went straight to the fridge. I glanced back at her and caught her looking at me. She seemed embarassed because she quickly looked away and cleared her throat. I smiled and went back to finding the pack of fries.

"Sooo.. Anong maitutulong ko?" she asked.

I grabbed the plastic pack and placed it on the kitchen table. I turned to face her and placed my elbows on the table with my chin resting in my hands. She looked at me, clearly waiting for my reply. I tapped my fingers on my face as I smirked at her playfully.

"Just stand there and be your beautiful self. Your presence is more than enough." I winked. Her cheeks blushed and her eyes widened.

I laughed and faced the stove. I was unaware that she moved from her spot. I turned around and was surprised to see that she was now in front of me. We were face to face. Can you imagine that even though she was undeniably good-looking, she was waaaaaaaay more beautiful upclose? It makes me speechless.

Why, God? Why?

She was looking deep into my eyes and then at my lips. "Alam mo, kung hindi ko lang alam na may boyfriend ka, iisipin ko na crush mo 'ko." She looked back into my eyes and smirked. I swear to God, I was going to melt because of her stares.

"H-ha?" I nervously said and stepped back. "A-anong sinasabi mo diyan?" Oh shit, this is bad.

She stepped forward causing our present position to be like the previous one. "Then why are you stuttering?" The smile never leaving her face.

"H-hindi k-kaya." I stepped back once more and she stepped forward again.

"Oo kaya!" She pointed her finger at my nose and giggled. Sweat was forming on my face right now.

"E-ewan ko s-sa'yo." I stepped back and was now leaning on the counter. Shit. Dead end.

She placed each her hands on both of my sides. Trapping me.

"If you stutter again, I'll kiss you." she dared and raised her right eyebrow at me. I was unaware that my mouth was open.

"A-an.."

I slapped my mouth shut and shook my head. She slowly leaned in. What happened next was just... ugh. I don't know what came over me but I closed my eyes as I waited for what was going to happen. I could feel her hot breath hovering over my face.

But instead of my lips, I felt her lips brush my right ear. It made me shiver.

She whispered. "Gullible."

She giggled and I could feel my cheeks burn up from embarrassment.

I pushed her playfully. "Napaka mo!"

"Hahaha! You should've seen your face." she laughed and this time, I laughed along with her.

"Whatever! Tulungan mo na nga lang kasi ako dito. Kainis to e." I laughed at how stupid I must've looked a while ago.

We prepared the snacks and headed back holding two bowls of fries each. Before we got out of the kitchen, she stopped by the door frame and turned to face me. I looked at her with a confused face.

"Oh bak-" Before I could finish, she quickly leaned in and kissed me on the cheek.

"Ganti lang sa kanina." she winked at me and turned around as I was left staring at her retreating figure.
