Chapter 15

I stared at the screen in front of me as the phone vibrated in my hands.

Should I answer it?

Yes?

No.

But why?

Because.

Because?

I don't know.

Am I mad at her?

Why would I be?

Oh, screw it.

I put my phone down by the night stand and watched as it eventually stopped vibrating. I frowned and crossed my arms over my chest.

Why didn't I answer her call? Miss ko na agad siya.

The cool wind from my AC was definitely not helping my emotions right now. I don't know why but when it's cold, I tend to feel lonely or sad. Good thing being sad for no reason is part of my job.

I took a deep breath and hooked my phone up my speakers to relieve me of my thoughts. I got up and turned the temperature down a little as I grabbed my robe and headed to the bathroom to wash up.

I stepped out of the bathroom and changed into a loose top and sweatpants. My phone rang on the table and I grabbed to see who it was. Jason calling.. I swiped the screen and answered it.

"Good morning, babe."

"Good morning."

"Free ka ngayon?"

I thought for a second before answering "Yeah. San tayo pupunta?"

"Nagyaya kasi sina Kean. Roadtrip daw tayo ng barkada since aalis na kayo bukas tapos for three days pa yun. We want to spend time with our girls, you know."

I chuckled. "Sounds great, babe. Anong oras ba? Para makapag-pack na 'ko."

"Yun! Before lunch daw e. Don't worry, Cha and the girls will be there in a while."

"What? Bakit?"

"Sa pick up ni Chynns sasakay ang girls and they decided na sa condo mo magme-meet."

"Eh kayo?"

"TJ has a meeting at 10am kaya mamaya pa kaming guys."

"Wow naman. Antayan talaga e. Haha sige, I'm gonna pack na."

"Syempre! Bye, babe. Ingat kayo ha."
