There once was a young brave knight
Who longed for a beautiful wife
Every maid in the land
would have taken his hand
if it hadn't been for Jane LouisMiss Jane Louis had never liked a man
And she didn't ever plan on fancing one
She decided long ago
That she'd never need one, thoughJane Louis had heard of a man
Whose charm was as great as his wealth
But she didn't care
How the people would stare
For trifle things didn't fancy Jane LouisThere once was a young brave knight
Who longed for a beautiful wife
Every maid in the land
Would have taken his hand
If it hadn't been for Jane LouisThat great man's name was Luke John
He was a handsome man, but spoiled as a brat
Luke John had never heard of a maid
Who didn't fall in love a first gaze
Until he met Jane LouisLuke John couldn't stand this woman
So he set out to win her heart
He didn't care how much it would take
He was going to be this girls date
But some things don't go as plannedThere once was a young brave knight
Who longed for a beautiful wife
Every maid in the land
Would have taken his hand
If it hadn't been for Jane LouisJane Louis had heard the news
Of how Luke John was coming for her
So she became prepared
Oh, Luke John how he dare
To mess with a girl like Jane LouisShe fixed some green tea
And added one special ingredient
Something that would certainly make her smile
She knew Luke wouldn't leave for a while
Once he took one sipThere once was a young brave knight
Who longed for a beautiful wife
Every maid in the land
Would have taken his hand
If it hadn't been for Jane LouisLuke John turned down the road
Galloping on his might steed
He reached the house and knocked on the door
Little did he know, he'd never been seen anymore
Once he entered the house of Jane LouisHe stood there in shock for a while
Watching Jane glow in the light
Then she let him in
And they drank tea in the den
For the last time with Jane LouisThere once was a young brave knight
Who longed for a beautiful wife
Every maid in the land
Would have taken his hand
If it hadn't been for Jane LouisAfter Luke John took one sip
He became quite green in the face
His fingers turned a pale, pale white
As he fought death with all his might
While Jane Louis quietly watchedAfter his demise
There was one thing left to do:
She buried him in her backyard
As he became cold and hard
Under the house of Jane LouisThere once was a young brave knight
Who longed for a beautiful wife
Every maid in the land
Would have taken his hand
If it hadn't been for Jane Louis
