Procrastinating
I'm the best one at it
Waiting until the absolute last second
To do what needs to be done
There's so much more
I'd rather do
Than sit in my room all afternoon
Working on something that's due
In over a week
So I'll wait
And I'll wait
Until the day right before
Then I'll scramble around
Like a madman
In search of my work
That I didn't do earlier
And I know that it's easier
To get it done ahead
But each and every time
I find myself repeating
The same mistakes I did before
And each and every time
The result is always the same
An unworthy production
Is what I gain
Why can't I change the way I am?
Because for so long
I have done what I have done
And become what I have become
A horrible
Terrible
Absolutely awful
