I in trusted you with them
To show them how to grow
And water them with love
That I graciously gave to you
I know you sometimes think
You aren't up to the job
But I never make mistakes
I chose you for a reason
You sometimes forgot
To water them each morning
And change their pot
To allow them room to grow
Even so you always came back
To fix them up again
And return them to the state
That I want them to be
You work so hard
From sun rise until fall
And even when you're tired
You push yourself on through
I gave you those seeds
For a reason
Because what I saw in you
I wanted to see in them
And that is the reason
I chose you
And gave you this tough job
I knew you could do it
Which is why I made you
