Our Perfect World

do you see it?

look up real high

nope bigger

do you see it?

keep looking at it

just a little longer

for the first time

I'm looking at something

at the exact same time you are

and that something isn't

behind a screen

it's real

a real object

in a real world

that even a thousand miles away

from each other

we can still look at

together

I really do love you

all the way from me

to that moon

then back to you

it reflects the light

why can't it do the same for love?

I love that moon

almost as much as I love you

expression is hard

and I'm doing it the way I know best

I wanted you to see love

but it's hard with you so far away

the moon was a good opportunity
