Some people say
That words don't hurt
But they do
"Sticks and stones"
"May break my bones"
"But words will never hurt me"
Is the biggest lie you'll ever hear
Truth be told:
I'd rather be beaten severely
Than endure the pain
Of word calling
Ridicule
Judgement
The knife of words
Hurts more
Than the knife of the hand ever could
It leaves no visible scars
No one sees the scars of words
And no one ever will
So
Give me the beating Dear Name Caller
And give me scars to prove it
