I am afraid
I am afraid of dying
Yes
But who isn't?
Completely unknown
and mysterious
Something irreversible
And unchanged
Death
Permanent and certain
A destiny all meet
No matter how hard
One tries to run from it
The ending of our beginning
And the start to our finish
Beyond that finish line
Is covered in fog
To our unseeing eyes
I am afraid
I am afraid of living
Yes
Why aren't you?
Unjust judgements
Ridicule and presecution
Violence and issolation
A pariah of society
To be molded into conformity
A mask glued to skin
A painful
And lonely existance
One where truth and lies are one
As
The barriers ever vanish
In the dark
So I do admit it
I am afriad
I am afraid of dying
Yes
But even sadder still:
I am more afraid
of living
