A river of feelings
Of sadness
And loneliness
Drown me in your sorrows
Let my head slip below the surface
Trap my lungs in a coffin of waves
Sink me to the bottom
Where I may stay in silence

Of heart aches
And lies
Drown me in the hurt
Let me lose myself
Trap my body in a cage of desperateness
Sink my heart ever so lower
Where it gets lost in the black

A river of hate
Of battles
And bruises
Drown me in the scars
Let me die here
Trap my soul in the abyss of evils
Sink my mind into the depths
Where it cracks and bends

A river of sickness
Of illness
And death
Drown me in the pills
Let go of my hand
Trap my heart in the disease of life
Sink my body ever so far
Where it can escape the plague

A river of doom
Of mourning
And tears
Drown me in the reality
Let the water turn red
Trap myself in the truth of it all
