"Gale?!" I exclaim shocked. What was he doing here! He is meant to be in the UK.
"Yeh it's me Catnip" he smiles. A massive smile forms in my face as I jump into his arms.
"Geez! Your getting heavy catnip!" He exclaims jokingly spinning me around. Right as he does I catch a glimpse of Peeta riding his bike past my house. First he looks at me. Then at Gale. Then at the both of us wrapped in each others embrace. We look at each other. His eyes filled with nothing but pure cold jealousy. Mentally I want to go up and hug him and tell him he's the only one. But I can't. It's not right.
"Catnip?" Gale asks me. I snap back into reality Turing to face gale.
"Sorry. Anyway why are here! I mean it's a miracle! How did you get here!" I exclaim all at once. Even though I can't see him I can fee, him glaring at the back if Gales head.
"Katniss! I moved two houses away from you! Im going to the same school as you!" He exclaims putting me down. I squeal in excitement. This is the only good thing that's happened to me this year.
"That's great Gale!" I exclaim hugging him again. "I have to get Primmy!" I say. I usher Gale inside and call prim from upstairs.
"Yeah Kat? Did you burn my lunch? Because if you did-" She stops when she sees Gale. She squeals and jumps into his arms.
"Gale?!" She exclaims hugging him.
"Yeah its me Primmy" He answers chuckling. He puts her down and admires her.
"Since when have you matured?" He jokes.
"She's fourteen. She's got her own world now" I laugh patting my little sisters head. She had matured so much over the few years and I hadn't even noticed until now. Her two braids have vanished and her hair flows freely. Her pretty dresses have changed into crop tops and mini skirts and she's wearing makeup!
"Where are the braids Prim?!" Gale exclaims throwing his hands up in the air.
"I'm not a baby anymore" She huffs showing maturity. Gale laughs giving her another hug.
"Primmy I'm your new neighbour" Gale says.
"Really?" She squeals.
"Yeah. I'll be over all the time" He exaggerates looking at me. I roll my eyes.
"We're going to have soo much fun!" She squeals once again.
"Okay Prim that's enough, why don't you go back upstairs" I tell her not giving her a choice. She sighs.
"Katniss I'm going to Rue's house later on" she says going back upstairs. "And bye Gale" She waves. I sigh when I hear the loud pop music start playing form upstairs. Gale chuckles.
"There it goes" I sigh. "This house never shuts up" I joke.
