Chapter 4

I walk down the hallway towards the gym. The teacher was Miss Trinket. She is obsessed with fashion and what's so ever. She is also not a very secretive person. She basically admitted that she was having an affair with our English teacher Mr Abernathy.

"Watch it slut" A deep voice spits at me. I wince at the words and tears start forming in my eyes. I turn around to come face to face with Peeta Mellark. I keep my mouth shut and keep moving forward. He catches my arm and spins me around. I let out a cry of pain as his finger nails come in contact with my fragile skinny arms.

"I said watch it!" He yells in my face. "You whore!" He screams again. I choke back a sob.

"Let me go!" I squirm fighting against his grip. He doesn't let go though. His grip only gets harder and tighter. Any minute now my arms will snap. I know it.

"You little slut" He grimaces, now holding up my whole body weight above the floor. My kick my feet rapidly in the air.

"Okay, I'll let you down if that's what you want" He sneers. Suddenly I realise what he's doing. He lifts me even higher above the ground before dropping me. I land in a pile on the floor clutching my arms. Peeta Mellark storms of hurriedly before any teacher sees the damage he's caused.

I don't wait another minute. I leap up of the ground and sprint towards the gym. I don't want anything to do with Peeta Mellark or his evil slutty girlfriend Delly Cartwright. Not now. Not ever.

I had never taken showers at my old school. Mum said it was against sin to shower in a public place. But I don't see the point. We just finished PE and everyone was hot sweaty. Annie said she had to help the Miss trinket with some packing up, and the other girls were doing there 50 push-ups as punishment for disobeying and not participating during the sports activities. It was just me left with Delly Cartwright and her evil minions she's picked up along the way.

I step into the steamy hot shower. Letting the water run down my sweaty body. I run the soap along myself making sure not to miss anywhere. I close my eyes and let my mind rest. I can almost make out what Delly and her 'friends' are saying about me.

I run the soap along my inner thighs and then back up my stomach. I sigh and open my eyes again, caressing my body with the soap.

An ear piercing scream escapes my mouth as I stare at the once pure white soap that was now a colour of a staining red. I drop the soap and it lands on the tiles with a small thud. My head slowly tilts downwards towards the floor. I gasp loudly when I see the red substance spreading around me. I bring my shaky hands up close too my face and stare at the them. My hands! They were covered in layers of pure blood! What's happening!

I grab my towel and hardly wrap it around myself before Stumbling out of the shower and towards Delly and her minions. They were standing there talking to each other. They stop when they see me.

"HELP ME!" I scream stumbling forwards. "IM BLEEDING!" I sob. "HELP ME!" I scream. It was more like a half scream/sob. Delly and the girls gape at me with wide eyes. "WHAT'S HAPPENING!" I scream even louder followed by multiple sobs. My white towel was now damp with redness. "LOOK BLOOD!" I cry holding out one if my hands while clutching the disgusting towel in the other. I slap my hand over Delly's disgustingly short blue skirt, leaving a red hand print. Delly gasps and moves backwards. Her eyes trail to where most of the blood was, which was in the centre of my inner thighs. Delly gasps again and her shocked face turns into a pure hatred one. She sniggers.

"Oh my gosh" One girl mutters. These go around the room. Lots of muttering and whispering and sniggering. I scream again begging them to help me. Suddenly Delly steps forward and places her hands on her hips.

"Oh my gosh! It's her period" Delly snorts. All the other girls gasp and then start chuckling at me. I stare at them bewildered.

"Guys I don't think she knows what it is" Delly sneers at the girls. They start laughing.

"It's your period! Plug it up!" Delly spits. She walks over to a small box sitting on the wall and starts taking white packets out. "Plug it up!" She screams at me again before throwing the objects at me.

"STOP IT!" I scream falling backwards and landing on the hard tiles. Loud Sobs escape my my mouth as Delly throws the objects at me wildly motioning the other girls to join in.

"Plug it up!" They start chanting at me while throwing the white things. "Plug it up! Plug it up! Plug it up!" They chant. Soon the whole floor is covered in the small objects. I see Delly pull out her phone.

"NO! PLEASE! STOP IT!" I scream begging them to stop. I clutch my bloodied wet towel around me and sob into the floor. I hear snap shots being taken followed by mean laughs.

" wait til the school hears about this" Delly snorts taking more shots.

"STOP IT! PLEASE! YOU HAVE TOO HELP ME!" I scream pleadingly. All of a sudden everything stops.

"GET OUT NOW!" Someone yells. I turn around. Annie and Miss trinket are standing there looking raged. "GET OUT! NOW! YOU WILL BE SEEING THE PRINCIPAL ABOUT THIS!" Miss trinket shouts. Delly and her minions scurry out of the room giving me death glares.

Annie and Miss trinket rush over too me. I let out another sob into Annie's shoulder.

"What happened?!" Annie exclaims worried looking around at the blood and at my bloody towel.

"I-I DEE-DELLY WAS- WAS UH- MY - BLOOD! I-IM DYING!" I wheeze in between sobs not knowing what to say. Annie suddenly looks concerned.

"Miss, I don't think she knows" Annie says looking at the coach. Miss trinket stands up and looks around the room disappointed.

"Let's get her too the nurse. We can call her mum and explain what happened" Coach trinket says helping me up.
